How would this benefit Alora?: 

for alora benefit... maybe it will get more money becus if its worth the rank the ppl will get it? its not sure to push it to 40k or 35k or 30k total... its for sure always hard to get eternal aswell....but if you look at alora and more privet servers there there is some times maxed rank 5k... we way over that and eternal we got for a long time right now!

and if you see the player who playing alot alora.... getting more and more ppl immort/eternal and maybe ppl wanna go for more if it good stuff on it?

nope. no support. the last thing the server needs is another rank... omi should focus on bug fixes and the massive content that has been released/being release in osrs right now

I don't see any benefit, in time input and product output, to catering to the 1%.

I believe eternal has enough benefits as it is before it becomes too much of an advantage.

 

We already have 8 different ranks and  85% of alora sit between Super - Uber anyway.

to be fair, i think there should be a rework or something 1st of all on eternal, this rank need some better ''perk'' b4 we add a new rank.

i also feel it is the worst rank you coud get for ''rng'' ,never been that dry tbh on everything.

 the only good ''perks'' that you get from eternal are:

 

select your slayer task, ( but u can cancel on moslty any rank )
the dark ense blocks for very low xp rate modes is pretty good
drop rate bonus? 2% more for 10k more spend from (immortal).... and its prob not even working.

it is not worth the 20k at all already, so imo  even pushing it to 30k would be way to much,

uber is the actual good rank/ best money worth so far and it is not worth going for any other ranks.

fix eternal, make it actually worth it, then im all in that we can speak about a new rank that will worth the money.

strudelle i agre with you ! and also bit with yautja ! there is also alot to do ingame aswell to fix bugt etc...also if i see alot of vids from osrs on the streamers is easyer to kill there like a arma or bandos or what ever bosses then in alora...i dont play by meself the osrs is i cant speak by myself to tell that but if i see the vids its looks so much better then some times in alora... and also its a privet server??

 

well its nice to read also what ppl think about the ranks also with the rank 3500 or maybe something between immort and eternal to get between a rank for more ppl with decents perks

im split between supporting and implementing a new 50k dono rank 'now' or 'saving it' for when we have like 50+ other eternals ranked members.

in saying this tho, i do remember obtaining uber back in 2017 when it was the highest rank it giving a dull/blackluster once the achievement was finally hit after 2 weeks feeling when everyone around you was easily able to attain uber too.

as cluttered as the ranks feel right now we'd have to evaluate the pro and con impacts of servers that have too many ranks. it makes the game feel very messy/p2w orientated. which bring my mindset back to we should worry about it when 50+ people all have eternal.

the only positive with implementing a new rank in the current moment provides continuous progressive dopamine to the 1%ers of the community who have nothing else left to strive for. but to fix this mindset, you can take most eternal donators and look at their collection log points and if theyre not 1100+ we shouldnt be worrying for lack of things to strive for. we got another 1 years+ buffer.

This is gonna be a big NO from me for various reasons most important the ones below.

 

1, The perks a 30-50k Donor rank would req to be worth it would most likely result in a gamebreaking advantage.

 

2, I'd rather see time beeing invested in bug fixes / updates (as yautja stated above) that would benefit all the players instead of 0,5% of the player base.

No support. Just becomes to OP. Also the idea of adding a $3500 rank is just to much. Either stick with Uber or work to master. Alora has plenty of donor ranks at the moment

no support. games die when the main focus is on catering to making the game easier for the 0.00001% of players. i agree with youtja, let omicron focus on making the game more fun for everyone involved rather than adding another rank that makes players have a garuanteed cox purple rate

The vast majority of people who even get to eternal in the first place are gamblers, which is fine, but eternal is already out of the question for the average player. Adding a new rank wouldn't necessarily cause more people to donate, just more demand for the bonds that already come into the game.

 

There's so many more important aspects of the game to be focused on.

I would much rather if we simply reworked some donator perks instead of adding a new rank for now. If we were to add a new donator rank, it would have to be truly game breaking, or else it would be very underwhelming.

I don't see this becoming a thing at all, We've only now got a few eternal donators at the minute.  Maybe a rework on the rank perk system though.

Not necessarily a no to a new rank, but the rewards that would have to come with such a high level dono would be the things to oppose. It would have to be OP to make it worth it to the dono, which  in return would be TOO much of an advantage over other players.

Gotta agree with @strudelle I think eternal could use a rework. I understand people don't want the rank to be too OP but until you've played an eternal account it seems a lot more op than it actually is. It's actually rather underwhelming/not noticeable over other ranks. Would like to see if the 19% drop boost works as it seems worse than the other ranks with a boost.

 

 

My droprates have been worse since getting eternal I think my tob went from like 1/15 to 1/28 and chambers from 1/10 roughly to like 1/15 (which i had a better rate as legendary lol) i go what feels like 15-20 dry every purple drop whether i do it on boost/boosters etc at cox while other ranks see similar or better rates. 2% drop rate extra for 50b (or thousands of dollars) is not really worth it especially when you see people with 1/10th (uber bis which is why a lot of people dont go over uber) your rank and a similar/better log. insert "ujusthavebadrng" but most eternals seem to agree.

 

Most high end donators dont really need perks like the farm contracts, slayer task select and dense essence blocks,pc points, vote timer etc (unless low xp mode or going for 200ms/new accounts). 5 new skin colors are nice since i enjoy cosmetics but they get stale since there's only 5, the title is interesting but again not worth 50b to upgrade from immortal.

 

The unlimited swaps are nice if you plan on making and committing to new accounts as you're locked in for 3 months but not everyone will utilize that.

 

Eternal is mostly a flex at this point as it offers not much over immortal yet is double the price so even seeing new exclusive skins/cosmetics/icon colors under your character etc for eternal donators would be something to compensate for spending 100b/20k if the perks such as droprate or raids rolls can't be buffed.

 

So no support on a new rank as our best rank is underwhelming already. I couldn't see a 40k rank adding much that's over eternal to make it worth getting without being too op. Would support reworking eternal donator though.
