Along with today's Christmas update + giveaway we've also updated the Shop with a huge bonus on tokens for the next 10 days! You'll also find some new seasonal items that will be removed after Christmas, so make sure to get your hands on them before then.

 

 

 

 

• Store updates:
  • The Christmas Sale is now live! It will run until January 1st, offering a hefty 50% bonus applied to any token purchase!
    • This amount is applied to the usual base + bonus. For example, an $80 donation usually gives you 900 tokens. It will now give you 1.5x that, equaling 1350 tokens.
  • Seasonal items:
    • Santa costume
    • Wise old man’s santa hat
    • Christmas cracker:
      • For the first time, Christmas crackers are available on Alora!
        • Simply use these on another player in-game, and one of you will end up with the prize. You are guaranteed a party hat, but if you’re lucky, you might get one of the following partyhats from the cracker (if you hit the special partyhat table):
          • Rainbow partyhat (2% chance)
          • Black partyhat (8% chance)
          • Partyhat with specs (10% chance)
          • Wise old man’s partyhat/santa hat (15% chance)

Member of the Month has returned! This month is more or less of a test run on how we are going to do this, next month could be completely different with how this is set-up and done.

 

 

This event will consist of 10 members we have chosen together as a staff team that have stood out to us in overall performance. This will be a poll based event and the top 3 members who have received the most votes by 12/22/17 will go through another vote within the staff team and be featured in the newspaper the same day. The winner of the event will be rewarded in game with 3 Alora Bonds (Can be claimed on any game mode) & receive the forum award within 48 hours of being crowned as Member of the Month.

I’m not going to support this, you can die in the wildy or there isn’t really anything else except de-iron, what’s probably not going to happen..

But I don’t think this would be a real smart thing to add in my opinion...

Was just a fun idea that popped into my head when I was thinking about how OSRS has 2k total XP worlds.   

 

Now, I know that there is currently a zone for donars/donar+ but what about a zone for people who are 1b+ total level(or even higher since getting 1b total XP isn't that difficult)? Or even an area in the donar-zone for donators who are 1b+ total xp? Doesn't have to be anything crazy but would be fun to have(another farm patch or something would be cool). 

Great idea. I also thought of something for this as a possibility if this does not work.

What if when someone picked up the bloody key, then any combat level can then attack them?

This would provide a way for lower levels to still try it, but those naked level 3's with no risk will die like the rest of us.

Even though I don't pk at all it sounds like it'd be nice to have as a quick fix, support.

Support. It's in the current game so it should belong in Alora.

Its a suggestion thread I said I don't support this suggestion doesn't mean others won't.
 When you make a suggestion thread you shouldn't expect everyone to like your ideas or support them, not everyone shares the same opinions

I'm sorry but it seems like you're biased against him. Whether it's personal ingame matters or maybe nothing at all you're not supporting his suggestion which has literally no downside. In no way does this potential feature change the game dramatically, as it's a simple convenience that is already implemented into OSRS.

Support. I can't believe someone said "not support" to a QOL update with zero negatives...

I don't see how this would be a really useful thing to implement in game, Runecrafting is fast for runes and picking from drops and adding them to the pouch is fast you only have to do 2 clicks I don't support this one

not really any reason to not support it. it's a simple convenience.
