Soooooooooooo we broke a few records this month.....

 

Starting off by shaking off our tob gear sets to take that record, massive shoutout to 11 , Kharyrll , 2 Ridiculous , Noa for coming in with the time of 14:14

 

After tob we wanted to go ahead and grab the other raid record and since it was reworked we managed to get an 8:29 raid, this one was at the help of Kharyrll , tae iron , Noa and ViskasG3rai

 

Noa seems to be a reoccurring theme when it comes to records especially with his new nightmare record coming in at 13:03

 

11 smashing the inferno record doing a run in 27:17 (I was wondering why he went quiet in the voice chat.... it makes sense now)

 

 

Enslaving coming in hot at the abyssal sire with a 57 second kill

Then managed to get that down even more, and I decided to join him there

 

While we're on the topic of Enslaving can we take a moment to admire this mans desire to slay the corporeal beast, and admire his lootations? I didn't believe it.....

But that's okay because shortly after I got mine

And if that wasn't impressive somehow J boogs managed to find a baby scorpion after 8 kills...

 

This time Enslaving's luck took a turn for the worst after getting 2 jars in 10 kills

While writing this. I'm literally shaking a little bit. Because I'm scared to say my opinion. Fear to be silenced, or worse, be banned just because I want to voice my opinion.

I'm not going to ban you and I hope no one on the staff team would ban you for voicing your opinion(s).

 

 

 

Last week we made a positive step as a community. We came together and let our voices be heard, until today. We got spat in our faces, our voices meant nothing. We just got shushed for a short period. But we will not stay silenced. Here is my feedback post.

 

 

Your voices were heard, quite literally every single day and maybe not in the most mature way I appreciate lets funk's response on this thread here https://www.alora.io...re/#entry372307. Yes we did make changes based on your voices and handed out punishments based on those changes. Spitting in your faces is a pretty bold statement for us coming out and trying to give everyone a way to play the game they want to. But lets see what you have in your feedback thread.
 

 

When you visit the Alora rules, this is the very first thing you see. They speak of a culturally diverse community. Containing different races, beliefs, ethics and sexual orientation. It says it is vital to preserve and protect each culture. Ensure equality throughout Alora. But in reality, it does not reflect this in-game. The rules of Alora exist to maintain order and protect the server and its player. It defines who and what we are. We must abide by them and staff should uphold them. If this is not the case, that's laughable / unprofessional.   Then the newly added filter. What value does it have, if it is obvious what is said. Example: "Nigga you should be in chains." Result: "***** you should be in chains."

 

I like to think I do a pretty good job of standing behind the rules of Alora. You see Alora is a culturally diverse community as there are many people that play from around the world. With that being said there's multiple meanings to different words. Take the word "fag" for example. In some countries (not mine) this is a perfectly normal word that people use on a daily basis for cigarette I believe, however if someone uses that in a derogatory manner such as "shut up fag" I would (and have many times) muted for that, let's take the example you gave. "nigga you should be in chains" now that comes off as quite derogatory if I saw that i'd instantly mute for that, but if I saw someone say "what's up nigga" that doesn't come across as to derogatory does it?

 

 

 

You could instead utilize the anti-advertising filter. Example: "I can't wait to come home and play Runescape." Result: 

 

 

This is truly something that can be a pain in the ass and could maybe change it to mention specific servers instead of the word "scape" 

 

 

 

Just because you believe something is not offensive or because it's not offensive in your country, does not mean it should be allowed. We should stand together against this, so I hope my fellow Alorians will let their voices be heard yet again.

 

 

If something is offensive in your country I hope you can make good use of the new filter system! It will include some words you may not enjoy seeing, and if someone tries to get around it by saying "N1gge*" I'll happily be the first to mute them. I hope you can also find that just because something is offense to you may not mean it's offensive to another, giving you a further reason to use the profanity filter. Good day

Hello gamers, Dynasty has just hosted a fashion scape event over the past few days and I wanted to announce our winners, along with showing off everyone's submissions!

All of these suggestions look good but if I could make a counter suggestion, one of the ones I voted no to was the teleport wizard interface becoming alphabetical, I like the way it is now however, I would like to see you be able to add 3, 4 or even 5 "favorite" teleports that could be on a separate interface, would be a nice qol to help speed up getting to popular slayer locations, and other various activities such as birdhouse runs!

 

 

EDIT: You probably want my input on the tob being unsafe. I would like to see it touched up a bit before I vote yes to this. people say dead clicks etc etc and while that is a concern at verzik, simple stuff like 
Bloat when he's standing back up has a chance to hit you (I assume it's by an invisible falling hand) which can be tick ate, but if you're not looking and not expecting a hand to fall, bye bye hardcore status. 

Exiting the maze at sotoseg and you get an invisible ball and don't realize, good bye hardcore status. 

Currently there's no way to teleport out of a tob and if your party wipes it is impossible to log out on any boss, you're in combat every second. I don't know what happens in osrs but if all of your pillars collapse on nylos your party wipes, would that be a death? (Can't confirm as I don't know what happens on oldschool) I would like to see the teleport crystal (purchasable for 1,000,000 gp) added as a means to get out in an instant.

 

When raids is reworked later this year I'll gladly change my stance if I feel I wouldn't die to an unintended mechanic.
