What is your suggestion?: Allow the looting bag to be used in the safezone of the ferox enclave

Is this in OSRS?: Yes, all accounts are able to

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: No

How would this benefit Alora?: It was very well received by UIM and just makes it easier and less annoying to bag items

What is your suggestion?:     Add the tiny storage chest, only for private items.

Is this in OSRS?:     Yes, it was put in june 16, 2021

Has this suggestion been accepted already?:     No?

How would this benefit Alora?:  Pretty new update to osrs, but one of the nicest qol's for people without dwh at cox, and just to avoid running back to scavs if you need a chest, it holds 25 items with no shared storage option.

Was included with the "kingdom divided" update

A default chest has been added that can hold 25 items (in personal storage only)."




#302019 UIM changes and improvements

UIM needs a lot of fixes to make it more polished and feel complete, as well as many QoL updates that could improve the mode.

 

One of the big issues with the mode is the lack of end game possiblities. There are no storage methods aside from untradeables in the reclaim shop, and looting bag, although the mode has no bank access one of the reasons people can really do end game content in osrs is because they can store double the items as in alora, they can store a full inventory, a looting bag, and equipped items in a zulrah death storage, or vorkath, as well as many others. 

 

A good solution to this would be either adding a storage mechanic to zulrah or vorkath or the guardian bosses, or creating one specifically for UIM if people would rather keep zulrah and vork etc as safe, here is an example of the vorkath storage

you would be able to claim certain items that you need, and keep the rest in there while you do other things. In osrs the items stored in places like these are 100% safe on logout, no matter how long they sit there. the only way to lose these items is to die again. I think in alora with so much wilderness based content it would be nice if they were safe even after another death, but that might be considered too powerful, im not sure.

 

another issue with the gamemode is how hard it is to complete simple tasks.

 

Getting super restores on a uim means first of all trying to get as many free spaces to farm herbs or get them from something like raids, then the only way to get red spiders eggs currently, is wilderness content. So as a uim you could go risk everything, or you could suicide and pray you don't dc, or the server goes offline, or some glitch happens while you stand out in the wilderness grabbing red spiders eggs. I have already suggested a fix to this for MANY gamemodes https://www.alora.io...es/#entry298239 which is the tower of life, this would fix many of the issues with collecting things like red spiders eggs and would hopefully be implemented for many of the hard to obtain or wilderness exclusive secondaries. (You can get the secondaries from barrows but the rate makes it entirely random if you even get a drop theres a slim chance it will be the one you are trying to get. it is too inconsistent)

 

Another fix that could drastically help with space, is making the zenyte jewelry WITH the ornament kits on them untradeables, meaning they go to the reclaim shop on death, just like void, or fire cape. It makes it untradeable in osrs and it should in alora too, wouldn't make much change other than another gold sink.

 

These changes would improve the gamemode a lot, making it feel a lot more complete, and maybe bringing more interest to the mode, and making it more playable, especially for endgame content. Please suggest more if you can think of anything else the mode needs




#298239 Herblore Secondary alternatives

Recently, herblore secondaries were added to the barrows drop table, however they are actually quite rare, 6.1% chance of getting ANY secondary from a completion, but the chance of getting a specific one, drops to 0.5 - 0.8%.

 

My suggestion would be to add in things such as the tower of life. https://oldschoolrun...eature_Creation

 

For example, to spawn and kill the spidines you need 1 raw sardine, and 1 red spiders egg, which when killed gives 2-6 red spiders eggs, in osrs using the ardougne cloak, will make them noted, that might not be needed in alora since the cape has a use already, but it is a stable, controlled method of getting red spiders eggs that doesn't require killing a boss in the wild, rng, or any risk of your items or status for UIM and HC accounts.

 

This could be made even better for farming them if other custom drops could be added to the other ones, in osrs theres things like Newtroost which gives eyes of newts, theres a shop with those for all accounts so that wouldn't be needed, however some of the ones with no use in alora could be changed to require, maybe a crushed nest, and then when you kill the creature (im thinking a mini mole  ;)) it gives 2-6 noted crushed nests in return, this could be a huge improvement for modes such as UIM, HC, even GIM and EIM because of how difficult some of these can be to get as a lower combat level.

 

One of the concerns for this idea would be that it would be way too fast of a method for getting these secondaries, if the idea is to keep the method slow it could give 2-3 honestly, as long as its consistent i would be using it way more than risking my items out in deep wilderness.

 

This would make the game have much more early game content, which i feel is lacking, and even higher level restricted accounts could use this, it would not be the fastest method of getting the secondaries as some bosses drop 100+. but it would open doors for accounts with lower combat, and people who don't want to be in the wild. If anybody has any other ideas that go alongside this please feel free to let me know, i think this would change the game for the better and make it less dependent on high level content for skilling items.
