 Today I've reached my "Long term" goal and that is....Completionist cape on my Elite Ironman, also 3rd time achieving completionist across all my accounts. I was playing solo for the entire time.

 

As for the 200ms, I went for Thieving, Farming and Ranged.

Welcome to the long awaited Alora's Cooking NPC. The npc that @Lowkey has pleaded to be added to the game for the past 4 years! Below you will find a breakdown of requirements / prices.

 

I would like to note that this npc will reward 0 experience for any fish cooked and is purely to speed up cooking for pvming/pking.

Suggesting its located at the Cooking Guild west of Varrock and East of Edgeville(this can be decided)

 

 

 

 

 

 

Normal player: 4,000gp per noted raw fish.

Donator: 3,750gp per noted raw fish.

Super donator: 3,500gp per noted raw fish.

Extreme donator: 3,250gp per noted raw fish.

Legendary donator: 3,000gp per noted raw fish.

Uber donator: 2,750gp per noted raw fish.

Master donator+: 2,500gp per noted raw fish.
 

 

Requirements: 

• Varrock Elite Diary completed
• Cooking Gauntlets.
• 100m xp in cooking skill achieved
  • ​The reason this is part of the requirement is because the Varrock Diary is one that is completed fairly easily and we want to make sure that this npc does not take away from the initial part of the game and must go through say a "probationary period" where you actually have to fish/cooking everything you obtain, and 100m was a fair milestone instead of saying 200m that everyone already gets.

2nd Proposed Requirements: 22/4/2023

• Varrock + Lumbridge & Draynor Elite Diaries Completed (Both)
• Cooking gauntlets equipped
• 99 Cooking
• Remove 100m cooking xp req from 1st proposed requirements
  • After discussion the 100m cooking xp req may be unfair for game modes such as realism/elite/classic to obtain. Instead the completion of 2 elite diaries that have high level REQ and locked behind quest completion is a fitting choice. As the person who mentioned this to me we also want to highlight the "Gold Sink" factor and make sure its accessible to increase its use, increasing how much gp it deletes.

 

 

Pros:

• More bossing, less cooking.
• Gold sink.

Cons:

• No xp gain.

Shouldnt have had the ability to trade since the release of these game modes and its too late too turn it back. However its up to the player themselves to actually grind their items on their accounts and consider themselves a "real" ironman. Atm gim and eim are just normie modes with prices being a bit higher.

What is the point of allowing GIM and EIM to buy items from the store instead of other players if they decide to buy items? Is it all about you dont want other gamemodes to make money when they are able to by selling these items? I get your point about the not realy an ironman when you buy stuff. But then dont make it possible to buy them from the store aswell, thats just complete bullshit. 

 

If a GIM decides to buy items, its their choice, other gims can make money from it wich is smart. They fucked this game mode along time ago. 

 

I have bought and staked gim items in the past. I ended up rebuilding just like a normal GIM, grinding the items myself and lending items from and to teammates (excactly how the gamemode is ment to be). 

 

If you dont like the fact that some GIM/EIM players want to buy their items, then just stick to your realism account and play that. Let others enjoy the game how they want to. Most GIM players play like a normal GIM, some GIM players buy stuff, and others can benefit from that. So what? Cant reverse this anymore, and no point of doing so. 

the best way to solve this is to merge all game modes!

Hello, it is me again. This time I am going to reply to the topic author with a perfected mechanic of his own, which is taking one or two sentences out of someones post and then replying to those:

 

"If you want to sell gear to each other, that's what Realism is for. " - except there is about 20 active players within the entire game mode

 

"Realism was released in 2019 with a separate eco, but it still made sense to some of you guys to support making radical changes." - I thought this thread was about Ironman integrity

 

"What's wrong?  Can't handle a different perspective?  This is a discussion thread so I'm encouraging you to talk.  Why make this personal?" - nobody has made it personal, only person wanting to make it personal is you with those 2 past topics you have created, trying to become some sort of a martyr and explaining your loss of veteran rank with those two topics, which are definitely not the case.

 

"Imagine buying a GIM/EIM tbow.  You would need to provide the 2x GIM removal tickets (2x250 tokens) + pay the person who sold you the GIM tbow." - you forgot to add the 20+ day waiting timer

 

"Great!  Now you know how the Realists felt when the staff & non-realism players started a suggestion + vote to merge a game mode they don't play." - why make this personal? this thread is about ironmen integrity, the feelings of realism players are supposedly irrelevant when it comes to ironmen modes.

 

"Flip that around.  I'm not willing to try gim right now because the gim integrity is fucked... but hey... if you fix it... I'll promise to play." - okay i flipped it around and i still have hard time to care about it because i communicate with my group as intended, not hoping for influx of realism players in order to have some sort of a marketplace.

 

 

It is not even funny, how you are pointing out the realism topic, which has been in the history books for couple of months, several times. This just shows that you are still pissed about that topic and tryna create unnecessary attention within the forums. You aren't doing your reputation a favour with that, in fact your reputation is that frog in the well you talked about.
