Hello everyone,

Today we're bringing you a huge QoL update to enhance your experience! First order of business is to bring in an additional free Rank Transfer for players who reach Immortal donator rank, to add a sort of stepping stone from Uber to Eternal in terms of rank transfers. We took the time this update to improve many parts of the game and website, including a streamlined new settings interface along with some new settings to tinker with, a reworked Hiscores now allowing you to see who has the most boss kills, clue scroll completions, and PvP statistics such as kills, killstreak, KDR and even deaths (highest death count being quite the achievement in it's own right!

Many interfaces throughout the game have been updated, such as Probita's pet interface, the addition of the Guide price checker (equipment tab), a new Items Kept on Death interface, Pet House interface. Gambling has also been touched up to be a more smooth experience with less bugs and more details during the gamble (displaying your current hand, as well as a chance at obtaining the elusive Flower crown if you're lucky enough!

We'll let you break down the rest of this lengthy update:

  • Immortal Donator Rank Transfer Unlock:
    • Players who reach Immortal donator rank ($10,000) will now unlock a 3rd free donator rank transfer!
      • We've decided to add this since we felt that the gap between the last free transfer at Uber ($2,500) and Eternal ($20,000) was too big without including a transfer unlock in between, so this gives players another perk on the Immortal unlock.
      • Of course, current Immortal donators will also unlock this transfer, regardless of whether you've used up your previous transfers or paid for a transfer in the past.

  • Hiscores Rework:
    • Hiscores have been heavily reworked! Aside from visual improvements and easier filtering / general bug fixes, you can now view the following hiscores:
      • PvP Statistics
        • KDR
        • Killstreak
        • Kills
        • Deaths
      • Clues
        • Total clue count, as well as individual clue count hiscores
      • Bosses
        • Bosses and raids killcount hiscores can now be viewed.
    • All of the hiscores above can be sorted by game mode type.
    • Viewing personal pages will now also show Boss killcounts and kill times.
      • In the near future, personal pages will also include clues/PvP statistics (along with additional ranking sections that have yet to be added) and skill ranks.

  • Trading Post Price Guide Interface:
    • Players can now use the price guide button in the equipment interface to calculate the estimated value of certain items.
    • Players can add any tradable items from their inventory to the interface, and it will provide the total price of all the items, based on the current exchange value.
      • Players can also use the search feature to lookup the price of any tradable items.

  • Item Consumption Device:
    • A new device has been attached to the trading post which will allow players to monitor the new Item consumption system.
      • Players will be able to view the total number of items destroyed, the current gp pool being used to purchase items to destroy, the history of all items that were destroyed, including the amount and average purchase price, and the 5 most recent items purchased and destroyed.
      • The device will also send up a puff of smoke every time it destroys another item.
      • Players initially may notice that many of the purchases seem distributed unequally (many prayer scrolls, light bearers, etc…), and this is due to the way we previously updated item values.
        • As time goes on, you’ll notice that it should start purchasing items more evenly (based on their price).

  • Gamble Updates:
    • Flower crown:
      • You will now have a 1/8,000 chance every plant (during a Gambling session, so 1/1,600 per gamble) to obtain the Flower crown!
        • The tradable crown has 9 different color variants, and can be switched by right-clicking and selecting the "Change-style" option.
        • When obtained during a gamble, your character will have a rainbow-colored graphic play around them to let others know that you received the crown.
    • Predictive hand:
      • While planting, you will now be able to see in the chatbox what hand you have so far (eg. Three of a Kind) as well as your opponent's hand.
      • You'll also see color indicators to let you know whether you or the other player is winning.
      • Lastly, you can also see the total pot size in the chatbox.
    • QoL:
      • The yellow plus icon for the pot size is now a treasure chest icon.
      • You can now speak 2 ticks sooner at the end of a gamble.
        • Additionally, the winning player sometimes could not speak until they closed the Reward interface -- this will no longer be an issue.
      • Command changes:
        • ::fp and ::blackjack will now bring you to the Gamble zone.
        • The ;;gamble command will now bring you a bit closer to the gamble area, to the eastern end of the bridge.
    • Bugs:
      • When claiming GP from the Trading post (or claiming any items that would normally go to your inventory), they will now go to your bank even if it is full as long as you have a placeholder for it.
        • (Eg. You have a full bank and inventory but placeholder for gold, it will bank the gold)
      • Fixed a bug that would allow the loser in a gamble to logout at the last second, wiping the prize from the game and not awarding the winner.
      • Fixed a bug where if you staked too many items in the gamble window they would disappear.
      • Sometimes after starting a new gamble the accept button would still show "..2.."  from a previously cancelled gamble.

        • Each highlight style has a name and ID list, color picker, width adjustment, and some offer an option to turn off/on anti-aliasing
        • Exclusion list of what NPCs highlights you do not want to hide when Ignore Dead NPCs is enabled
        • Respawn timer in ticks or seconds
        • Turbo mode for rave enthusiasts

  • Donator Zone Additions:

      • Crystal outcrops have been added to the gem mine in the donator zone.
        • These outcrops, when cut, will provide players with salve shards, which can be used on a ball of wool to produce a salve amulet (e).
        • Requirements:
          • Extreme donator+ for access to the mines.
          • There are no crafting or mining requirements, but players need a chisel to cut the outcrops.
          • Players must have previously purchased a salve amulet from Nieve to learn how to cut these outcrops.

  • Pet Insurance Interface:
    • Probita now uses a proper interface for viewing insured pets, as well as reclaiming them.
      • The “Check” right-click option, or asking to reclaim a pet will open this interface.
      • Players can click the “reclaim” option on any pets in the bottom box to reclaim them for the appropriate fee.

  • Items Kept On Death Interface:
    • We’ve updated the Items kept on death interface to a more modern variant, which allows players to see more accurately which items will be kept/lost in certain circumstances.
      • This will also highlight items that go to the reclaimables shop on death and show them as kept, so players can accurately see which items will be dropped to the ground or lost when killed.

  • New Clan Settings:
    • Clan owners have 3 new settings to for their clan chats:
      • Announce Collection Logs:
        • This was previously a toggle, but has been given a drop-down menu so that owners can specify the minimum rank that the player must have to have their collection logs announced.
        • Items logged from The Collector will not be announced in the clan chat.
      • Announce Achievements:
        • This setting, when enabled, will announce when eligible members complete a combat achievement tier, or an achievement diary tier (as well as an entire diary region).
      • Announce Personal Bests:
        • This setting announces to the entire clan when a player beats their previously set personal best record for PvM encounters.
          • This only counts solo encounters (excluding raids).

  • New Settings Interface:
    • We’ve re-worked the extra settings interface to be far more functional than previously.
      • The new interface will open a proper interface in the viewport, rather than a smaller interface in the player’s settings tab.
        • It will also provide detailed descriptions of the settings, and sort them into sections to make settings easier to find, as well as reduce clutter.
        • As some of you may have noticed, the extra settings interfaces on the vanilla/runelite client had different options, leaving many of the newer ones out of the Vanilla client entirely.
          • This new interface allows both clients to have access to all settings, with a dedicated section for vanilla client settings, which can only be accessed when using the vanilla client.
        • We’ve took this opportunity to expand the settings interface and add a few new settings for both clients:
          • Combat Achievements Repeat Failure:
            • When enabled, this will still notify players in their chatbox when they’ve failed a combat achievement, even if it’s already been completed.
          • Combat Achievements - Repeat Completion:
            • When enabled, this will notify players when they’ve re-completed a combat achievement task that they’ve already completed in the past.
          • Hide Wiki Banner:
            • This option hides the wiki banner underneath the minimap, and has been moved from the Interface styles plugin.
              • Players who had this toggled in the interface styles plugin will need to re-enable it in the new settings interface.
          • Always Stack Tabs:
            • When enabled and in modern resizable mode, this will cause the tabs on the bottom of the screen to stack onto of each other at all times, similar to how they do when the client dimensions are minimized.

  • Ironman Rune Packs:
    • Paul now sells 3 types of rune packs in his shop, with unlimited stock!

        • Elemental rune packs:
          • These packs cost 125k each, and provide 500 random air, water, earth, and fire runes.

        • Players must create a party using the Notice board outside of the Theatre of Blood, and other players can then apply to join a party, similar to TOA.
        • Any player who wants to enter a raid must be part of a party.

    • The Grotesque Guardians fight will no longer provide individual kill times for dawn/dusk, but rather an overall time for the Grotesque guardians encounter.
    • Fixed a bug where the grotesque guardians killtime was not properly tracking for the combat achievements.
    • Fixed the sound of the craw's bow firing.
    • The Wilderness lines plugin from the plugin-hub has been re-enabled.
    • Fixed a bug where the minimap plugin recolored dots would be reset sometimes after logging out.
    • Fixed a bug where examining an item in the Tombs of Amascut loot interface would crash the client.
    • Fixed a bug with some Killcount combat achievements not auto-completing until the player increased their killcount.
    • Fixed the special attack sound for the abyssal dagger.
    • Fixed a bug where the Dawnbringer special attack was not dealing damage.
    • Fixed a bug where Vet’ion would reman unattackable if the hounds despawned.
    • The teleports to Callisto/Venenatis/Vet'ion have been moved closer to their entrances.
    • Fixed a bug where poison/venom would not hit players if they were too far from the target that inflicted it.
    • Tele block will no longer trigger vengeance.
    • The Voidwaker special attack graphic will now play on the target rather than attacker.
    • The Voidwaker now has a bank placeholder.
    • Fixed a Guardians of the Rift typo.
    • Fixed a bug with the thrall timers not properly increasing the timers for the grandmaster/master combat achievement diary perks.
    • Making chocolate cake now provides 30 cooking experience.
    • Fixed a bug where the new model chathead animations were not working properly on 2010 mode.
    • Fixed a bug with tile indicators and ground markers not working properly at venenatis/spindel.
    • Fixed a bug where the hp hud was not updating properly in the Crondis puzzle room.
    • Fixed a bug where players would fail the Personal space combat achievement by stepping on the same tile before they passed the barrier at Bloat.
    • Fixed a typo in the Crystal Singing Recipes interface.
    • Fixed a bug with the Runelite hiscores not showing the correct killcounts.
    • Fixed a bug where Private messages would disappear after 100 new messages were added to the chatbox.

Hello everyone!

We are bringing back the development blogs! From now on, we are focusing on bringing the newer content to you before it actually gets implented into the game. This way the community will have a brief idea of upcoming newer content and features, in addition to bug fixes and Quality of Life updates.

But without further speech, lets get into the development blog. This time around we have many client-sided improvements, additions and appearance-related things, so that way people can customize their client the way they prefer to play.

As a first update, we are looking forward to updating game settings interface. The current version of the interface is relatively outdated and in order to give the best possible experience to players who like to play with advanced settings, we are bringing a newer, modernized version of the game settings interface.

1BOtSGL.gif

We are also planning to give clans a little bit more features to play with. In the past we released collection log announcements for clan-chats, which have been proven to be relatively popular. Now we are amping it up by giving clan owners a chance to choose the minimum rank necessary for those messages to show, and also give them a possibility to announce completed achievements and bossing personal bests. We hope that it gives the clans a more pleasant experience and activity in building discussions and friendships.  <3

Items kept on death interface is getting an easier but modern version. That version of interface also will show the items that go to untradeable shop, giving players easier time to understand of what they are risking in the wilderness.

omwd6CZ.gif

This one is for data lovers like me! Have you seen the player "ITEM_CONSUMER" buy your items? Have you ever wondered what items have been bought by the system? If so, then you are in for a treat! We are bringing statistical side of the item consumption device, which is accessible to every player, and shows how many items have been bought by the device. But be careful, if you see the smoke near trading post, then it is not a job for the firefighters!

Also, if you have been bothered by the way how chatbox is closed and private messages/broadcasts are shown, then this GIF below is for you:

dwg2S2k.gif

Equipment stats have more information now!

1Q4hpwv.gif

No more "pc twisted bow"! The new price guide interface is showing the estimated value of certain items. And if you dont have the item yet, then you can search for it!

hwMBfbz.gif

Presets are getting changed, now you can choose a fancy icon to decorate the way presets look, and much more!

We are looking forward to share more upcoming content in the next development blog! Make sure to keep in mind that those are newer additions to the game, that will come with plenty of bugfixes and QoL updates.

Any feedback regarding development blogs is always appreciated, we are excited to show some of the stuff we have been working on.

Wishing you a great week,

Alora Staff Team

bTNX5Wm.png

Hello everyone,

Today we're bringing a huge update -- one of our biggest ones yet! The long awaited Wilderness Boss Rework is now here, and aside from some exciting new boss mechanics, and mini versions of the bosses, there is also a plethora of new items to obtain, including the powerful Voidwaker. Aside from this, we've got so many different updates to bring to Alora, including things like new plugins, the ability to recolor your Crystal armor, many brand new hairstyles, fast-map loading (experimental) and much more.

  • Summer Sale:
    • With the arrival of June (and perhaps to celebrate the 6/6/6 Falador Massacre), our Summer Sale has begun!
      • You'll earn 25% bonus tokens on all purchases in the store.
      • Rank tickets purchased during this time will also include bonuses, giving 4.5x rank rather than 4x:
        • $100 option: $400 Rank ticket -> $450 Rank ticket
        • $150 option: $600 Rank Ticket -> $675 Rank ticket
      • We've added a few favorites to the list of sale items, including:
        • Black partyhat (4,500 tokens -> 4,000 tokens)
        • Drop booster (15 tokens -> 12 tokens)
        • Ultimate mystery box (150 tokens -> 120 tokens)
        • Cosmetic mystery box (100 tokens -> 80 tokens)

  • Wilderness Update:
    • Vet’ion, Venenatis, and Callisto have all been re-worked this update, which includes weaker singles-plus variants.
      • Each of these wilderness bosses have been relocated into caves in the deep wilderness, approximately near where they used to be located.
      • The main 3 bosses are located in multi-combat areas of the wilderness, so beware!
        • Players can only enter these dens from one entrance, marked on the world map, however leaving the cave will spit you out in one of 3 possible locations in the new Escape Caves.
          • These caves have 4 exits, which gives players many options to get away, but beware, since the caves are filled with spiders and bears which are very aggressive.
      • There are also 3 new wilderness bosses, which are weaker versions of the 3 bosses mentioned, and are located in singles-plus caves.
        • These caves can be accessed from entrances located in the wilderness levels 20-30.
          • The precise locations can be found using the world map.
        • These bosses, Calvar’ion, Spindel, and Artio, have the exact same combat mechanics as their stronger variants, however they will have less hitpoints, and deal reduced damage.
          • This also means that their loot rates will not be as good as the stronger variants.
    • Venenatis:
      • Venenatis is a giant spider who lives in the Silk Chasm, a cave that can be accessed in level 35 wilderness.
        • She has 850(515 for Spindel) hitpoints, and multiple new attacks.
          • Melee Attack: Venenatis will lunge at any players within her attack range.
          • Ranged Attack: Venenatis will spit a green projectile at any players outside of her melee attack range.
          • Magic Attack: Venenatis will launch a web-like projectile at any players outside of her melee attack range.
          • Sticky Web: Venenatis will occasionally deploy a sticky web at a player, sending a white-blue web at the target's location.
            • Once it hits the ground, it will expand into a 7x7 AOE (5x5 in Spindel’s lair), and any players standing on these webs will take 3 damage, lose 3 prayer, and 10 run energy each game tick (0.6 seconds).
          • Spiderlings: Venenatis will occasionally call spiderlings to assist her in battle.
            • These Spiderlings are rather weak, and will be killed in one hit, however each time they attack a player, they will drain a prayer point, regardless of if any damage was taken.
              • They will also empower Spindel/Vet’ion, increasing the damage that they do through prayer for each spidering alive.
      • Venenatis no longer has the ability to poison players.
    • Vet’ion:
      • Vet’ion is a giant skeleton who lives in a tomb located in level 34 wilderness.
        • He has 255(150 for Calvar’ion) hitpoints in each phase, of which there are 2, and the following attacks:
          • Magic attack: Vet'ion launches bolts of lightning across the arena.
            • There will be four bolts targeting random tiles in the arena, while one will always land next to a player in a 3x3 AoE around them, including the centre tile.
              • One targeted bolt will appear for every player in the chamber, capped at seven.
          • Hellhounds: Upon reaching half health, Vet'ion will summon two skeletal hellhounds to attack players.
            • While the hellhounds are alive, Vet’ion will be immune to any damage.
              • This attack happens once for each phase.
          • Shield Bash: Vet'ion will raise his shield to bash an area in front of and underneath him; shadows will appear forewarning the AoE of the attack.
            • If the player doesn't move out of range, they'll take up to 35 damage and be unable to attack for the next 4.8 seconds.
              • This attack is only used when in melee distance.
          • Enraged Form: Upon losing all health in his first form, Vet'ion will unleash a blast of orange lightning around him and restore his health to full.
    • Callisto:
      • Callisto is an enormous bear that resides in Callisto's Den, located in level 40 wilderness.
        • He has 1,000 HP, and it is strongly recommended that he is fought in a group due to his attacks:
          • Melee attack:
            • Callisto will swipe anyone nearby with an AoE attack that can deal up to 55 damage (Prayer reduces damage by 50%).
              • For this reason, it is recommended to freeze Callisto, or surround him as a group and tank with Melee prayer whenever he targets you.
          • Ranged attack:
            • Callisto's default attack at a distance, which is the weakest and easiest to avoid. (Prayer reaches damage by 50%).
          • Magic attack (knockback):
            • Every so often, Callisto will target one player with a slow magic attack, and if they are not praying against it, it will knock them back to the wall and stun them, causing them to take high damage (the closer you are to the wall, the more damage you take -- up to 50).
          • Bear traps:
            • At 66% and 33% hitpoints, Callisto will howl and begin to lay bear traps around the room. These can be walked over, but if you stand for more than 1 tick on a trap, it will stun you and deal up to 15 damage.
    • Rewards:
      • Each of the 3 wilderness bosses that has been re-worked has also been given a new drop table.
        • The improved rewards and their exact rates can be found using the monster drop searcher interface in the server statistics quest tab.
        • The main rewards that players will be gunning for are the following:
          • Skull of Vet’ion:
            • Players can attach this skull, which is a rare drop from Vet’ion and Calvar’ion, to the Thammaron’s Sceptre to create the Accursed Sceptre.
              • This new sceptre is charged with Revenant ether, and requires level 70 Magic to equip.
                • The sceptre, like its weaker variant, provides a 50% bonus to accuracy and damage against npc’s in the wilderness.
                  • This sceptre can has 2 forms that players can freely choose between.
                    • The default sceptre has a built-in spell which uses 1 ether per attack.
                      • The max hit of this spell is calculated as followers:
                        • Max = magicLevel/3 - 6
                    • Players can also convert the staff into the Accursed Sceptre (A) by right-clicking it in their inventory and selecting the “Transform” option.
                      • This will allow players to cast spells from a spellbook, and auto-cast spells from the standard and ancient spellbooks.
                        • This form can auto-cast the flames of Zamorak spell.
              • It also has a special attack, Condemn, which consumes 50% of the player's special attack energy, and costs 1 revenant ether.
                • The special attack hits an enemy with a 50% increase to max hit and accuracy, and upon a successful hit, also drains the target's Defence and Magic by 15%, regardless of the damage inflicted.
                  • If the target's levels are already lowered by some amount, Condemn will only drain them up to 15%, but no further, meaning multiple attacks will not stack.
          • Fangs of Venenatis:
            • These will attach to the Craw’s bow to create the Webweaver bow, which will increase it’s stats, and give it a special attack.
              • The Webweaver bow shares the same 50% damage/accuracy boost as the Craw’s bow, and also costs 1 ether per attack.
            • The webweaver bow has a special attack, Swarm, which consumes 50% of the player's special attack energy.
              • The special attack hits an enemy four times in succession with doubled accuracy, each dealing up to 40% of the player's max hit, which also consumes 4 charges.
                • Each hit also has a chance to inflict poison, starting at 4 damage.
          • Claws of Callisto:
            • These will attach to the Viggora’s chainmace to create the Ursine chainmace, which will increase it’s stats, and give it a special attack.
              • The Ursine chainmace shares the same 50% damage/accuracy boost as the Viggora’s chainmace, and also costs 1 ether per attack.
            • The ursine chainmace has a special attack, Bear Down, which consumes 50% of the player's special attack energy.
              • The special attack hits an enemy with doubled accuracy, and upon a successful hit, also deals 20 damage over 6 seconds, prevents running for 3.6 seconds (6 ticks) and reduces the target's Agility level by 20.
                • The accuracy roll for Bear Down is based on the offensive bonuses of one's currently select style, which is rolled against an opponent's slash defence.
          • Voidwaker:
            • Each of the 3 bosses and their weaker variants drop a specific component required to create the Voidwaker.
              • Voidwaker blade: Dropped by Vet’ion/Calvar’ion
              • Voidwaker hilt: Dropped by Callisto/Artio
              • Voidwaker gem: Dropped by Venenatis/Spindel
            • The Voidwaker requires 75 attack to wield.
            • The Voidwaker also has a special attack, Disrupt, which consumes 50% of the player's special attack energy. The special attack deals guaranteed Magic damage between 50-150% of the wielder's maximum melee hit. The special attack will provide Magic experience with the same formula as powered staffs.
              • As you can imagine, the guaranteed damage makes this weapon and it’s special attack very unique/special, in both PvP and PvM.

  • Client Java Support Changes:
    • The Vanilla and Runelite clients no longer support Java 8.
      • This should not effect the majority of users, since the version we package with the Mac/Windows applications is Java 11, however if anyone is having issues launching the client, we recommend you delete the old client and download the windows installer if you’re on windows, or the Mac installer if you’re using an apple device.
        • Players who are on Linux using the standalone Jar launcher with Java 8 will need to update their

      • Players can now bring in 10,000 seeds rather than 100 at a time.
      • The overall system works more or less the same, where the players goal is to fill a sack with 100 fruit, however the point system has been slightly changed to allow for more points, and for them to be given more consistently.
        • Players will now receive 1 point for every 3 fruit deposited, and 2 bonus points for filling the sack with 100 fruit.
          • This increases the total points per 100 fruit deposited from 28 to 35.
          • The bonus experience gained for depositing more than 74 fruit still remains the same.
    • The amount of Bologa’s blessings received from the Tithe farm shop has been increased from 10 to 20.
    • Herb boxes have been added to the Tithe farm rewards shop for 30 points each.
  • Filtering updates:
    • Prayer filtering:

        • Lower tiers of tiered prayers
        • Tiered prayers even if multi-skill prayers are available

        • Prayers the player lacks the Prayer level to activate
        • Prayers the player lacks the requirements to activate
  • The Magic spellbook now has an option to resize the spellbook icons outside of the wilderness.
    • This will only work when a player has enough filtered spells that there would be room to resize the icons
  • Client Changes:
    • Low detail non-gpu FPS unlocking has been moved from the interface styles plugin to the fps control plugin.
    • The FPS control plugin’s FPS limiting feature is now properly functional, allowing players to limit their FPS to as low as 1 FPS when the client is not in focus.
    • The Alora HD plugin has been renamed to Alora Client Settings and has been expanded to include more features specific/unique to the Alora client.
      • The disable animations and ld draw distance configs from the Interface styles plugin has been relocated to the Alora Client Settings plugin.
        • All of the Alora Native HD configurations have been given their own section in the plugin’s configuration.
    • Fast map loading:
      • This feature is currently experimental, so players will need to manually enable it in the Alora Client Settings plugin.
      • We’ve improved the client’s map loading by quite a bit, leading to much faster load times when moving into a new map area/region.
        • This will, in many cases, allow for much smoother transitions when a player need to load a new area.
      • Projectiles and graphics will no longer disappear when loading new parts of the map if this feature is enabled.
    • Players can now use the Herblore Recipes Plugin, which has been directly added to the main plugins list.

      • This will allow players to right-click on other player’s chatbox messages and copy them directly to their clipboard.
  • Bounty Hunter Teleport Changes:
    • The Bounty hunter teleport will now bring players between 9-15 tiles away from their targets, rather than in immediate attack distance.
    • The teleport will also only bring players outside of the new wilderness boss entrances, rather than inside of them.
      • It also will not be useable if their target is in the escape caves.
  • Chinchompa Changes:
    • Black chinchompas will now target up to 12 npcs in PvM, and 10 players in PvP.
    • Red/Gray chinchompas will now target up to 11 npcs in PvM, and 9 players in PvP.
    • Chinchompa accuracy has been changed to follow the guidelines shown below, basing the accuracy on only the attack style/distance to the target.
  • Wilderness Chest changes:
    • Wilderness Logout Prevention Timers:
      • A logout prevention timer has been added for when players loot a Bloody chest or Supply chest.
        • This timer will ensure that the player must stay online for at least 1 minute, regardless of whether they try to close the client, disconnect, etc.
    • Warning:
      • Upon opening the Bloody chest or Supply chest for the first time, you will be presented with a warning and confirmation screen to confirm that you understand you will be prevented from logging out for 1 minute, skulled, and also tele blocked in the case of Supply chest.
    • Supply chest chance to fail:
      • There is now a chance to fail looting the Supply chest.
        • The chance by default is 1/12, which increases to 1/6 if you have a lockpick in your inventory.
        • If you fail 14 times in a row, your 15th attempt will guarantee a successful chest.
  • Alora Native HD Changes:
    • Fixed a bug where the login screen would disappear when hovering over the “play now” button.
    • Tombs of Amascut is now fully supported in HD.
      • Previously players would need to switch to LD to enter the Tombs of Amascut, however they can now participate in Alora’s native HD without having to turn it off.
  • Bank Equipment Interface Changes:
    • Bank equip options will now be prioritized when the equipment interface is open while banking.
      • This means players will no longer have to right-click an equippable item to select the “wear” option, it’ll now be a left-click option when the equipment interface is open, making gearing in the bank far more convenient.
    • The Bank equipment stats interface has had it’s layout changed to look more appealing, and will now show weapon attack speeds (base speeds, and speed from the current selected attack style).
  • Quality of Life:
    • K'ril Tsutaroth now has the same combat mechanics as General Graardor.
      • This means that he will only attack a player when he is within melee distance of that player, otherwise he will continue to follow his target until he can do so.
    • Items dropped in Chambers of Xeric will now appear to all eligible players instantly, similar to Tombs of Amascut and Theatre of Blood mechanics.
      • Items dropped worth more than 1 million coins total will prompt the user to confirm they want to drop that item even though it will appear instantly to everyone.

    • The dwarven stout effects now work properly.
    • Konar slayer tasks now count towards the “Complete 3 hard slayer tasks” daily task.
    • Verzik will now only spawn exploding nylocas equal to the number of players currently alive in the fight.

    • The cost of making unfinished potions for realism players is now 33% cheaper.

      • Orb-walking is being able to attack an enemy from a couple of steps away rather than having to wait until you get right next to them. This works in most cases, but with larger NPCs sometimes it would only work on a specific side of the NPC.
        • For example, when "Woox-walking" at Vorkath with melee, you could only properly do it if you were towards Vorkath's south-west corner, but not south-east or any other side of the boss.
    • Fixed a bug where the drop searcher interface was showing the incorrect drop rates.
      • It was adding the 1.23x Alora drop constant twice, rather than once.
        • This did not effect actual loot rates, and was just a visual glitch.
    • Dragon claw special attack has been fixed to match OSRS.
      • On Alora, the guaranteed damage ranges (assuming you land a hit, but missed the previous one) were not being properly applied. They are as follows:
        • 1st hit: Between 1/2 of ordinary max hit to (maxHit - 1)

#220028 Ring of Wealth/Ring of Wealth (i) In-depth Guide

Ring of Wealth

The Ring of Wealth (RoW) is a ring worn to increase your chances on landing the Rare Drop table (RDT). Each BOSS or NPC has a Unique table for its drops and than a RDT. The RoW does not have to be worn during the whole fight of whatever you're killing, but has to be on before the last hit. The RoW's effects are activated if the RDT is rolled; the effect of the RoW is it removes empty slots from the Gem Drop table

What is a Gem Drop table? It is one of the 3 tables that make up the RDT (Gem, Standard, Mega-Rare). Below I will show you all the possible loot from the RDT.
                                                                                                                                                                     Mega-Rare Table

   Gem Table                                                                             Standard Table

How to obtain a Ring of Wealth:

  • Purchase one from the Trading Post (Normal Players only)
  • Kill Kraken for a dragonstone ring and enchant the ring (All Players)
  • Craft a dragonstone ring and enchant the ring (All Players)

Perks of a Ring of Wealth:

  • You have a 1/54 chance of hitting the RDT.
  • Auto-loot coins & tokkul

Ring of Wealth (i)

The Ring of Wealth (i) on OSRS would have the same effects as a regular RoW but doubling the chance of getting a clue scroll drop in the wilderness. However here on Alora, the RoW (i) has perks of it's own.

How to obtain a Ring of Wealth (i):

  • Donate for it in the store at www.alora.io/store (All Players)
  • Purchase a RoW Scroll from another player (Normal Players only)
  • Purchase a RoW Scroll from the Slayer shop (2,250 points, All Players)
  • Purchase a RoW Scroll from the PKP Shop (1,250 PK Points, Normal Players only)

Perks of the Ring of Wealth (i):

  • You have a 1/44 chance of hitting the RDT.
  • 15% Increased rate for barrows loot
  • Ensouled heads/Caskets drop more often
  • Auto-loot coins & tokkul
  • 35% Increased clue scroll drop chance from NPC's that are not in the wilderness

FAQ

Does a Ring of Wealth/(i) increase my drop rate?

No, the ring of wealth has nothing to do with unique drops.

Does a Ring of Wealth/(i) decrease my drop rate?

Nope, the rare drop table is completely separate from your normal loot table.

What should I use this for?

I would recommend a RoW (i) for when you are doing slayer (non-boss), will farm you a lot of money from caskets/ensouled heads and also farming clue scrolls.

When should I not use this?

Any BOSS or NPC that you don't need to use a combat ring for it would be ideal, since it helps with RDT and caskets/ensouled heads.

Is the Ring of Wealth scroll worth it?

100%, I would only use a RoW (i). The regular RoW is useless in my opinion.

Hello everyone,

We know many of you have been patiently awaiting this update, so we thank you for all of your patience while we applied the finishing touches... Combat Achievements are officially live!

We're particularly excited about this update because of it's potential to transform PvM and make it an overall more rewarding experiencing, giving you plenty of tasks to complete (over 400), many of which you'll naturally be completing as you progress through the game. Of course, there are also many rewards available, ranging from cosmetic to functional items, and perks such as loading your Dwarf Multi-cannon with many more Cannonballs.

  • Cosmetic Mystery Box Additions:
    • The ruinous set has been added to the Cosmetic Mystery box drop table.
    • Players can now obtain the Mystic Cards item from the Cosmetic mystery box.
      • This is a rare reward from the box, and can be equipped into the weapon slot.
        • Players will see a “Duel” option appear when clicking on other players, which will allow the player to throw cards at them.
          • This cannot be done in the wilderness/during duels/gambles.
          • The cards thrown have no effect on players, and are purely visual.
    • The Elite/Superior/regular Calamity sets have been added to the Cosmetic mystery box.
      • These items have no stats/requirements, and are purely cosmetic.
    • The Gnome Child backpack has been added to the cosmetic mystery box.
    • The Infinite money bag has been added to the cosmetic mystery box.
      • This is a cape-slot item containing untold (perhaps even infinite) riches.
    • Bob the cat and Jad slippers have been added to the cosmetic mystery box.
    • The Jad/Stray dog/Gnome child plushies have been added to the cosmetic mystery box.
    • All of these new items can be stored in a player’s POH toy box.
  • Regular Mystery Box Additions:
    • Ornamented Dagon'hai robes
    • Ornamented Elder Chaos druid robes

  • Combat Achievements:
    • Combat Achievements have finally arrived on Alora!
      • With over 400 tasks to complete, players will be able to try their hand at completing some of Alora’s hardest challenges!
      • A huge thanks to @Mack, who helped us test and improve the Combat achievements throughout the entire process.
    • To view details for the combat achievements, players can click the quest tab icon, and then click the Combat Tasks Completed button to launch the overview.
      • Players can click the icon in the top left corner of the interface to view all the tasks, view all the bosses/details about each one, as well as view the rewards that can be obtained from completed every task in each tier.
      • The overview will show a player’s progress and milestones, and allow them to view tasks pertaining to specific monsters and difficulties.
        • There are 6 possible tiers for the achievements, ranging from easy tasks all the way up to grandmaster tasks.
          • Whenever a player completes a tier, they can speak to Ghommal near the Edgeville general store to claim their rewards.
      • Players can view their extra settings to toggle the option to be notified when they’ve failed a combat achievement (this works with the vast majority, but not all achievements).
        • If enabled, players will receive a chatbox message letting them know which task they’ve failed, and why.
      • Each achievement will be categorized as one of the following type of task:
        • Killcount:
          • A player must reach a specific killcount to complete the achievement.
        • Speed:
          • A player must kill the npc within a specific timeframe to complete the achievement.
            • These tasks may or may not also have team size limitations, which will be stated if so.
        • Mechanical:
          • A player must meet the exact conditions required in the task description to complete the achievement.
        • Perfection:
          • These tasks usually require that players kill an npc/complete a raid with near-perfect execution.
        • Restriction:
          • These tasks require players kill an npc with a specific restriction, perhaps regarding the weapons/armour they use, prayers, or other things.
        • Stamina:
          • These generally require players kill a boss in an instance a specific number of times without leaving.
      • There are 404 total tasks at the moment, however more will continue to be added in the future.
        • When new tasks are added, players will need to complete the missing tasks to regain the perks of that tier.
          • Ghommal’s hilts can still be equipped and used, but any other cosmetic rewards will not be equippable until the tier is completed.
            • Players will still be able to remove the ornamentation from these items to get back the original item that can be equipped.
        • Each tier has the following number of achievements:
          • Easy: 25
          • Medium: 35
          • Hard: 57
          • Elite: 106
          • Master: 105
          • Grandmaster: 76
    • Rewards
      • Players will be able to obtain the Tzkal/Vampyric/Tztok slayer helmets from completing the grandmaster/master/elite tiers, however they will not receive the tradable ornament kits.
        • They can speak to Ghommal to recolor their slayer helmet/slayer helmet (I), and will have a right-click option to revert the helmet back to it’s original form.
      • Easy Tier:
        • 5K base experience lamp.

    • The Hand fan now uses the proper idle/run/walk animations.
    • The Viggora’s chainmace/inquisitors mace now use the proper attack animations.
    • Adjusted the male and female head/jaw models to fit more flush with the player model.
    • Fixed a bug where the glassblowing pipe wouldn't appear when doing the animation on 2010 mode.
  • Quality of Life:
    • Players can now select multiple xp modifiers when using the Banked experience calculator.
      • Previously, if a player selected a second option, it would remove the previous option.
        • This will now only happen for conflicting modifiers (such as gilded altar and ectofuntus modifiers).
    • Players can now store the team cape I/x/0 on their POH cape rack.
    • The run energy plugin will now adjust the time left based on if the player is under the effect of a stamina potion or ring of endurance, and keep track of ring of endurance charges.
    • Players will now feed harpoonfish into the Tempoross cannons 1 tick faster.
    • Players will now only have to stand on Olm's absorption/teleportion pools for 1 tick for it to register them as safer, rather than needing to stand on it for the entire graphic during.
    • Olm's absorption pools will now spawn in a narrower range.
      • This range has been reduced by 2 tiles width-wise and 4 tiles height-wise.
        • This means it should (generally speaking) spawn slightly closer to the centre, and more towards olm.
    • Players can now store the festive nutcracker outfit in their POH toy box.
    • The skills progress plugin has been updated to the most recent version.
    • Adjusted the damage calculation against Het's seal to match OSRS.
    • Added Attack sounds to Vorkath.
    • Players now have 1 extra tick to avoid Vorkath’s dodgeable fire attack.
    • The swift blade now has the same attack animations as OSRS.
    • Players can now flip the tiles in the final Scabaras challenge room puzzle 1 tick faster.
    • The value of the Osmumten’s fang (or) has been increased to match the normal osmumten’s fang.
    • The value of the Avernic defender has been reduced to 0 coins, and will always be lost on death unless the player has no better items worth protecting.
    • Red dragons and baby red dragons in the Forthos dungeon now drop Grubby Keys.
    • Players can now store all the skirt/blouse elegant items in their POH treasure chest.
  • Bug fixes:
    • Fixed a bug where players would appear for use options after clicking on an item if they were using the transparent inventory.
    • Fixed a bug where the larger dagannoths in the Catacombs would stand on top of a player when attacking.
    • Players must now wait for the animation to fully play out to do an action after pushing through wheat in puro-puro.
    • Vengeance now properly works on Verzik Vitur during phase 1 and 3.
    • Fixed a bug where the Falador shield mole locator would not always show the hint arrow
    • PvP Armour used outside of the wilderness was reducing your total bonus by 20%, rather than just the bonuses provided by the pieces of PvP armour.
    • Fixed an issue with the low detail plugin removing the floors during the Warden P3 fight.
    • The nest hat chicken style now has a placeholder.
    • Fixed a bug where the low detail plugin wouldn't show the tiles in side of the gauntlet.
    • Fixed a bug where depositing stackable items into the looting back would sometimes use up an extra storage slot if that item was already in the looting bag.
      • For example, depositing noted cadantines into the looting bag if you already had some in there might have caused it to store them in a new slot.
    • Fixed a bug where the skills progress plugin would draw the progress overlays over the yellow box when hovering over a skill.
    • Fixed a bug where some players would be limited to 52 pets in their POH menagerie, rather than 57.
    • Players can no longer store duplicate pets in their menagerie.
      • We will not force players to remove their duplicate pets from their menageries, however they won’t be able to add anymore duplicates, and will need to remove their duplicates to store unique pets if they’ve filled up their menagerie.
    • Fixed a bug where some players' cameras would be set to their feet level when restarting their client.
    • Players must now have room in their inventory to uncharge the tridents/blowpipe/Toxic staff of the dead.
    • Fixed a bug where the antipoison timer would sometimes randomly appear.
    • Fixed a bug where entering Godwars instances (excluding nex) would not drain the player's GWD killcount.
    • Potion/thrall expiry alerts will no longer be filtered in the game tab.
    • Fixed a bug where players could not freeze barrows brothers right after they spawned.
    • Fixed a bug where the Ice barrage orb graphic was not properly animating.
    • Fixed a bug where the Keris partisan of the sun was not properly healing players when an npc was killed.

#457358 Discussing the Future GM Combat Achievements

Posted by Tbow Loc on 06 April 2023 - 07:03 PM

As we all know, combat achievements are right around the corner. Personally, when I look at the combat achievements on osrs, I immediately think of the Zuk helm, and how prestigious it is. It is, without a doubt, my favorite reward of all the GM achievements. However, as we all know, the Zuk helm is already obtainable in game via the shop. So, in lieu of the Zuk helm, what do you guys think Omi is going to add as a reward for the GM combat achievements?

I thought this would be something interesting to discuss as the updates draws closer. Please feel free to share your thoughts down below!

#401586 [1/7/21] Theatre of Blood Hard Mode, World Map, Spellbook Filtering, Spirit T...

Posted by Omicron on 01 July 2021 - 06:21 PM

LlvZYIO.png

Hello everyone,

After a lengthy wait, we're happy to announce that the next update is ready! As seen in the previous development blog, this update includes the World map feature (1:1 with OSRS), spell book filters, and the Hard Mode for Theatre of Blood. Aside from this, plenty of other miscellaneous content from the past month has been squeezed in, including: Spirit trees now being fully functional, the ability to fish Sacred eels, an expansion to the Kingdom of Miscellania, Spicy stews, the NPC Contact spell, and "The Collector" NPC, which will be useful in helping you fill up your collection log for old items.

As you can see, there are plenty of updates in different corners of the game, so we'll let you have a look for yourself below:

  • Theatre of Blood:
    • General changes:
      • Reflected damage from Nylocas Vasilias will now be reduced if you are praying against that style.
        • For example, if you use Magic on Nylocas which is not the correct style but you are also praying against magic, the damage reflected will only be 60% of what it would've been.
      • Performance details:
        • At the end of a raid, you will be shown your performance details, including:
          • How long each room took
          • How long the entire raid took
          • Total death counts
          • The MVP of the raid
    • Hard Mode:
      • Mechanics:
        • As the name suggests, ToB Hard Mode is for only the most skilled raiders, and will present a challenge for even the most well prepared. Every room has different mechanics making the raid significantly more difficult to complete, ranging from higher health NPCs that deal heavier damage, to complete mechanic changes with blood spawns that cannot be killed and enemies that launch multiple attacks simultaneously.
        • Overall mechanics:
          • Enemy hitpoints across the board are 20% higher.
        • Maiden of Sugadinti:
          • Blood spawns will sometimes spawn even if you avoid the blood pool attack (50% chance).
          • Blood spawns cannot be attacked.
        • Pestilent Bloat:
          • Body parts will continually fall throughout the fight.
          • Bloat can change directions randomly, multiple times during walking phase.
        • Nylocas Stage:
          • Any incorrect style on smaller Nylocas will now reflect damage at you.
            • They will also prevent that player from doing any further damage to that particular vasilias.
          • Any incorrect style attack on Nylocas Vasilias will reflect 25% higher damage at you.
        • Sotetseg:
          • Instead of launching one red ball at a player, Sotetseg will launch two on hard mode.
          • Instead of one player going into the maze on hard mode, all except one of the players will be sent into the maze, and the steps will be divided amongst those players. They'll need to work together to put the pieces of the path in order.
        • Xarpus:
          • Upon entering the room, Xarpus will throw acid around all of the edges (excluding the entrance), limiting the amount of space players have to run around.
          • During the rotation phase, Xarpus will immediately face the location that he was last attacked from, meaning that players must move around after every hit to avoid having the hit reflected at them.
        • Verzik Vitur:
          • Verzik will be stronger than usual, including her Nylocas minions.
            • Nylocas explosion radius is doubled.
            • All attacks deal more damage.
            • Ranged attacks leave behind poison pools for 16 ticks. These deal 9-10 damage.
      • Rewards:
        • The rewards are worthwhile; there is a significantly increased chance of obtaining a rare item, and less of a chance of obtaining an Avernic hilt (leaving more loot roll space for better items).
        • Additionally, the following cosmetic items have been added to Hard mode:
          • Sanguine ornament kit
            • Reskin your Scythe of Vitur with the exclusive blood-red Sanguine colors
          • Holy ornament kit
            • Channel Saradomin with this ornament kit that can be used on any of the following items:
              • Ghrazi rapier, Sanguinesti staff, or the Scythe of Vitur
      • Scoreboard:
        • Records for Hard mode are separate from the regular theatre.
          • The Zombie Monkey (completionist) cape will still count both the regular and hard mode completions towards the 250 raid requirement.
  • World Map:
    • The world map we’ve implemented is fully functional, and works exactly as the one on OSRS does.
      • Features:
        • Floating map:
          • This is the default left-click option on the map button, and will open a floating world map interface that hovers over the game scene.
            • This map can be resized or moved around by dragging/pulling the various borders/corners.
        • Fullscreen map:
          • To use the fullscreen map, players will need to right-click the world map icon, and once opened, it will cover the entire playable scene with an intractable map.
            • Players will not be able to see their hatbox or what’s going on around them when this map is open, so be careful when using this!
        • Overview:
          • Players can click the overview option in the bottom right part of the interface to quickly move between areas.
        • Zoom in/out of the map
        • A drop down menu players can use to change to different area’s of the game (Runescape surface, catacombs, Wilderness dungeons, etc…).
        • A search function, which will allow players to search for any location on the current surface they’re on.
          • For example, if you’re on the runescape surface, you can search for Falador, however this will not work if you’re in the Wilderness dungeons area.
        • Menu:
          • Players can use this menu to do things like enable effects, tooltips, labels, etc…
          • Players will also see a list of “game features” which they can scroll through and click on, which will then cause the map to highlight any of the icons that are visible on the map.
    • World Map Plugin:
      • This plugin will provide extra utilities/information to the world map plugin, such as the following:
        • Special icons for Fairy rings, and adding the ring code to the hover tooltip.
        • Agility level requirements on shortcuts.
        • Crossing out icons that players cannot interact with, for example trees they do not have the woodcutting level to cut, or shortcuts they don’t have the agility level to cross.
        • Adding icons to show teleport destinations (all spellbooks/scrolls/jewellery)
        • Displaying the type of farming patches in the icon tooltip.
        • Showing the type of tree and level required, rather than just “Rare trees”.
    • The Clue Scroll Plugin will now also have the world map features enabled.
      • When a player opens a clue scroll, and has the Runelite instructions appear, they can open their world map and a scroll icon will appear that players can click to be immediately taken to the clue scroll location they need to go to.
  • Magic spellbook filters:
    • You can now filter your spellbook (All spellbooks) based on your preferences!
      • You can select from the following filters:
        • Hide combat spells
        • Hide utility spells
        • Hide teleport spells
        • Hide spells that you don't have the level for
        • Hide spells that you don't have the runes for
    • You can also right-click on the spell book icon to hide the filter button so that the spellbook looks as it did before.
  • The Collector NPC:
    • The Collector has finally arrived in Edgeville!
      • Players can speak to The Collector to have items they’ve received that have not been logged in their collection log added into their collection log.
        • This will only work for a few items that are untradable, and for the most part non-stackable.
          • The primary reasoning for this is that Alora has a few ways to get items that belong to a collection log that may not be/weren’t counted in the past towards it.
            • An example of this would be purchasing the Elite void outfit from the shop, or the Pyromancer outfit from the daily shop.
        • The Collector will only log items that you have in your inventory, so you’ll need to bring him the items you want added.
        • There are about 130 items that are eligible to be added into the collection log through The Collector, so we won’t list them all, but a few of the included items are:
          • The Angler outfit
          • All untradable Pest Control items
          • All pets
          • Prospector gear
          • Pyromancer gear
          • Abyssal sire components
          • Hydra components
  • Wilderness Slayer Cave:
    • Players can now access the Wilderness Slayer Cave.
      • There are 2 entrances, one at Level 18 wilderness near the chaos temple, and the other at level 29 Wilderness just north of the chaos temple.
      • The entire area of the cave is a multi-combat zone, so beware!
        • Players can setup a dwarf cannon in this cave if they wish to do so.
      • Since the npc’s in this cave are slightly stronger than their normal variations, players will also receive a 15% increased drop rate of Larran’s Keys while killing NPC’s in this cave.
    • Npc spawns:
      • 10 Ankou spawns
      • 1 Bandit spawn
      • 4 Black demon spawns
      • 3 Black dragon spawns
      • 10 Greater demon spawns
      • 6 Green dragon spawns
      • 5 Hellhound spawns
      • 6 Ice giant spawns
      • 7 Lesser demon spawns
  • Wintertodt Changes:
    • The snowfall attack now occurs far less common the lower Wintertodt's health is.
    • The cold attack frequency has been slightly reduced.
    • Removed a mechanic that did damage to Wintertodt when feeding the logs/kindling into the Braziers, so this should now allow players to keep Wintertodt alive by feeding 1 Brazier for a longer period of time.
    • Made the frequency that the braziers break lower as Wintertodt's health is reduced.
    • Players will now receive 2 loot rolls from their first 500 points after killing Wintertodt, rather than 1.
  • NPC Contact Spell:
    • Players can now cast the NPC Contact spell in the Lunar spellbook.
      • This spell can be cast by players who have level 67 Magic or higher, and provides 63 base Magic experience when cast.
        • Npc’s that can be contacted:
          • Konar Quo Maten
          • Nieve
          • Krystilia
          • Advisor Ghrim
          • Amy
          • Watson
        • Restrictions:
          • This spell cannot be cast in any instances.
          • This spell cannot be cast while in combat.
          • Players won’t be able to access any shops, or give/receive and items while using this spell.
          • Player’s will only be able to collect resources, and not edit their kingdom resources/coffers when speaking to Advisor Ghrim.
  • Sacred Eel Fishing:
    • Players can now fish Sacred eels at the fishing spots near the Zulrah dock.
      • We’ve designed these spots a bit differently than most other fishing spots, since they don’t provide food, but rather Zulrah’s scales.
        • The fishing has been designed to be a passive way to gather Zulrah’s scales.
          • Players will require 87 fishing to fish from the spots, and can expect to obtain about 270-325 Sacred eels per hour, depending on their fishing level, and if they’re using the Rada’s blessings or not.
            • Catching an eel will provide 105 base Fishing experience.
            • Players who have at least 72 Cooking can use a knife on the Sacred eels to dissect them for Zulrah’s scales.
              • This provides 100 base Cooking experience, plus 3 extra experience for every scale received.
              • The amount of scales given is depending on the player’s cooking level, and can range from 3-4 scales at 72 Cooking, up to 8-9 scales at boosted cooking levels (104-111).
                • Every 8 levels the minimum and maximum amount of scales you can expect to receive will increase by 1, so at 80 Cooking for example, the eels will give 4-5 scales from dissection.
        • This method will provide players with anywhere from 1,100 to 2,600 Zulrah’s scales per hour.
        • Players can fish these spots for up to 3 minutes, after which their player will stop fishing, and the player will need to click the spot again.
          • As with all fishing spots, these do not move randomly like they do on OSRS.
  • Spirit Tree Functionality:
    • Players can now use the various spirit tree’s around the game to quickly travel.
      • The locations always present when using the spirit trees are:
        • Tree gnome village
        • Gnome stronghold
        • Hazard battlefield
        • Grand exchange
        • Feldip hills
        • Prifddinas (If the player has the requirements)
      • Players can also travel to their spirit tree patches if their tree’s are fully grown.
  • Kingdom of Miscellania Expansion:
    • The Kingdom of Miscellania resource management has been expanded to include Hardwood and Farming resource allocation.
      • Hardwood:
        • Players can select either Teak, Mahogany, or both hardwoods to gather.
          • If a player selects only Teak, they’ll receive up to 420 Teak logs a day, assuming 10 resources are allocated.
          • If a player selects only Mahogany, they’ll receive up to 300 Mahogany logs a day, assuming 10 resources are allocated.
          • If a player selects both hardwoods, they’ll receive up to 160 of each logs per day, assuming 10 resources are allocated.
      • Farming:
        • Assuming players have 10 resources allocated, they’ll receive 481 seeds per day, which will be randomly drawn from a set of seeds, each with their own likelihood of being received.
          • For example, players have an 18% chance of receiving a potato seed on each of their 481 draws for the day, meaning that, on average, they will receive ~88/481 seeds that are potato seeds.
    • Added a scrollbar to the resources gathered interface to support more items from the seeds players will receive.
    • The Loot tracker now has the capability to track loot from the resources collected.
  • Fairy Rings:
    • Players can now use the fairy rings around the world to travel.
    • To use a fairy ring, players must have a Dramen staff, which can be obtained from completing the Lumbridge & Draynor medium diaries, or the Lunar staff, which is obtained from completing Lunar diplomacy.
      • Players who have completed the Lumbridge & Draynor elite diaries do not need any of the above staves to use the fairy rings.
    • Once in use, players will be able to select a code to enter to go to a location.
      • To make things more convenient, the Travel log which will appear will provide players with all the codes for the possible locations.
        • Clicking on an entry in the Travel Log will automatically set the fairy ring code to the appropriate letters.
      • We’ve added nearly all of the OSRS teleport locations for the Fairy rings, except for a few select locations for obvious reasons:
        • Myreque Hideout
        • Gorak’s Plane
        • Enchanted valley (this is the old donator zone)
        • Realm of the Fisher King
      • After a player uses the ring once, the left-click option that shows the “previous-code” will show the code of the last destionation that they went to.
        • This will also shop up at the top of the player’s travel log.
    • The house teleport code is functional, however to make use of it, players will need a Fairy ring, or Ring and Spirit tree in their house.
  • Spicy Stews:
    • Spicy Stews have been added to the Vote reward shop for 20 vote points each.
      • When players consume the stew, they’ll have the option to select a stew flavour:
        • Red:
          • Boosts either Attack, Strength, Defence, Range, Or Magic.
        • Orange:
          • Boosts either Smithing, Crafting, Fletching, Runecrafting, Cooking, Construction, or Firemaking.
        • Brown:
          • Boosts either Woodcutting, Farming, Fishing, Mining, or Herblore.
        • Yellow:
          • Boosts either Agility, Hunter, Slayer, Thieving, or Prayer.
    • The flavour may be chosen, but the boost given will be chosen at random.
      • The boost will always be a +5 boost.
      • If prayer is the chosen skill to be boosted, it will simply restore 5 prayer points, rather than boost the stat.
  • Mahogany Homes/Construction Changes:
    • The Discord status will now update when a player is doing Mahogany home.
    • Mahogany Homes now provides a chance at the House pet.
      • This is also boosted by the Golden hammer (either in the inventory or bank).
      • The rates are similar to building items in a player’s house, and it uses the level required for the contract to determine the roll (rather than the level required to build the PoH object).
    • The Plank sack planks will now automatically be deleted without having to withdraw them if they contain the correct type of plank.
      • This only applies when doing Construction and Mahogany Homes contracts.
    • Added the Prifddinas teleport to the max/completionist cape POH teleport menu.
    • The bonus Carpenter points for donator ranks has been changed as follows:
      • Previously, Eternal donators would receive 2 extra points per contract, and Immortal/Master/Uber would receive 1 extra point.
      • The new system works as mentioned below:
        • Eternal donators:
          • Receive 3 extra Carpenter points upon completion.
        • Immortal/Master/Uber donators:
          • Receive 2 extra Carpenter points upon completion.
        • Legendary donators:
          • Receive 1 extra Carpenter point upon completion.
        • Extreme donators:
          • 50% chance to receive 1 extra Carpenter point upon completion.
        • Super donators:
          • 25% chance to receive 1 extra Carpenter point upon completion.
  • Special Attack Counter Plugin Changes:
    • The special attack counter plugin will no longer count BGS and BGS (Or) special attacks separately.
    • The Special attack counter plugin now has configuration settings to allow players to be notified when they’ve landed a certain amount of special attacks on an npc for a specific weapon.
      • For example, players can set their Dragon Warhammer threshold to 3, and will be notified when they’ve hit the boss 3 times with the special attack.
  • Combat changes:
    • Adjusted the spawns of the Greater demons near the KBD lair to match OSRS.
    • When attacking a player in the wilderness, your skull will now be renewed, even if you are already skulled.
      • This prevents an issue where you could have been skulled 20 minutes ago, and if you attack a player towards the end of the 20 minutes, your skull could run out right after.
        • Instead, initiating any attack on a non-skulled player will ensure that you have a 20 minute skull cycle.
  • Quality of Life:
    • Clarified the meaning of the letters (C/P/S/F) in the selectable layouts menu.
    • Players can now opt to close their currently opened instance if they want to create another one.
      • For example, if a player had a Dagannoth Kings instance open, they would previously need to wait out the full instance timer to start a new one.
        • Now, they can simply attempt to create a new instance, and they’ll be prompted with the option to close the currently opened one.
    • Eternal donators will now get 3 (rather than 1) reward permits from passing the 2000 point threshold when defeating Tempoross.
    • Immortal/Master donators will now get 2 (rather than 1) reward permits from passing the 2000 point threshold when defeating Tempoross.
    • Players can now interact with the Strategy table in the treasure room after finishing the Theatre of Blood to see their performance details.
      • The details provide information on deaths per member, and time to kill each boss, as well as the total time taken.
      • Note: The MVP indicator will never show a player name, since that feature was removed from Alora when we boosted ToB loot rates (each player on the team has their own chance to get a purple item after a raid, rather than just 1 player).
    • Updated the achievement diary completion banner to be a more modern one.
    • Updated the Leagues task completion banner to be a more modern one.
    • Players will now have a pop-up interface appear when they receive a new collection log entry.
    • The dwarf cannon will now cause NPC's to auto-retaliate even if the damage is 0.
    • Players now only require 9 quest points to enter Prifddinas, rather than 10.
    • Swapped the location of Baba Yaga and the Leagues tutor, so that it's clearer that Baba Yaga is an ironman only shop.
    • The auto-equip zulrah scales feature is now a part of the auto-equip ammunition perk players get from the Kourend & Kebos Hard diaries, and it can be manually toggled on and off.
      • Previously this feature was enabled permanently, but players will now be able to toggle either only auto-ammunition, or both auto-ammunition and zulrah scale reloading by speaking to the Alora guide.
    • Added Rune platelegs as a barrows common loot reward.
    • Increased the maximum item-on-object interaction distance from 16 tiles to 32 tiles.
      • For example, previously if you were to use a shark on the bank booth at the fishing guild, your character would run to the bank booth, but nothing would happen, since you were technically out of the max range (16 tiles).
    • The Seers' ring now has an item value of 4 million gp.
      • This will now show up properly when a player receives it as a drop.
    • Players will now receive a chat box warning that they will not receive Brimstone Keys on-task when they get a boss task from Konar, as it is not a location based task.
    • There is now a warning when voting to kick a member off of a GIM team that it will incur a 30 day cooldown between kicks.
    • The Pj timer in the Revenant cave is now similar to Deadman mode on OSRS, where you cannot be attacked until at least 10 seconds after your last attack on a player.
      • This means that if you get the last hit on your most recent opponent, you can hide in an unreachable area and logout before their teammates can hit you.
    • Any extra supplies that wouldn't have fit in a player's inventory after killing a player in Last man standing will now drop to the ground.
      • These extra supplies will still appear public to players after being on the ground for 15 seconds.
    • Players in Last man standing can now only carry a maximum of 12 sips worth of Saradomin brews in their inventory even while trying to loot a player they’ve just killed.
    • Players in Last man standing can now only carry a maximum of 11 Sharks in their inventory even while trying to loot a player they’ve just killed.
    • Players in Last man standing can now only carry a maximum of 2 Karambwans in their inventory, even while trying to loot a player they’ve just killed.
    • Items/supplies dropped in LMS will now instantly become public, and will disappear after 10 ticks.
    • The Magic Dart spell can now be casted with more than just a Slayer staff, including:
      • Staff of the dead, Toxic staff of the dead, Staff of light, Staff of balance
    • Using the Lunar Ice Plateau teleport will now trigger a warning so that players don't accidentally teleport into deep wilderness.
    • Added the Left click dropper plugin to Runelite, which allows players to enter the names of certain items they wish to swap the drop option with the normal left-click option.
      • To use this Plugin, simple search “Left click dropper” in the plugin list, and then configure the plugin with the names of the items you wish to have a left click option for, separated by a command.
        • An example would look like:
          • Dragon Warhammer,knife,clue scroll (medium),black chinchompa
    • Players can now choose a 15% point bonus from Wintertodt and Tempoross as one of the Vote book bonuses, that are exclusive to players with 2FA enabled.

    • Added the “Dissect a Sacred eel” Sherlock step to Master clue scrolls.
    • Players will now receive a chance to get a House pet from trading it Curved/Long bones.
      • The chance to receive the pet upon trading in a curved bone is 1/200, and 1/2500 for a long bone.
    • Added an option to trade in curved/long bones when speaking to the estate agent.
    • The Wilderness Skotizo emblems will now drop to the ground with all the other loot so that the Loot tracker can keep track of it.
    • Removed the Expeditious and Slaughter bracelet tracking from the slayer plugin.
      • This is now handled in the item charges plugin.
    • Players can now purchase the Blighted teleport sack (in packs of 50) from the Last man standing shop and the Pk point shop, for similar prices to the other sacks.
    • The Blighted Teleport sack can now be used to cast the Teleblock and Bounty teleport spells while players are in the Wilderness.
    • The Fishing plugin now supports Harpoonfish spots, and can support changing the overlay color when the double harpoonfish triggers over a spot.
    • The Loot tracker will now work properly in Edge PvP.
      • To make this happen without having to make any custom alterations to the loot tracker, we’ve made it so players will be put in the original death area when dying at Edge PvP, rather than back in the bank.
    • Added Battlestaves to the fletching skill calculator.
    • Players will no longer lose ancient shards for trying to add charges to an Arclight that is full (10,000 charges).

    • Players will now have their items returned when removing the following decorations in their Player-owned house:
      • Mounted Anti-dragon shield
      • Mounted Amulet of Glory

#398449 Vote reward for extra vote points

Posted by Fiji on 27 May 2021 - 07:56 PM

What is your suggestion?: Add another option to the vote book rewards that doesn't give any bonuses but gives 1.2x(?) or 1.5x(?) the amount of vote points you would normally get. (would love to hear which option people would prefer)

Is this in OSRS?: N/A

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: No

How would this benefit Alora?: Potentially more people buying vote books and therefore more people voting as well as making those items that are expensive in the vote shop slightly more obtainable and give vote books a greater value and a better beginner money making method.

#398149 Collection Log NPC

Posted by mochiii on 24 May 2021 - 06:10 PM

Collection Log NPC

This is a simple NPC to update the collection log for users who received an item/pet before the log came out, and instead of needing to go and repeat a grind what ever it may be they simply use the said item/pet on the NPC and it updates their collection log.

This will be specifically for untradeable items to avoid the ability to trade/buy from other players to update your own log without achieving it yourself.

130px-The_Collector.png?e6529

List of Suggested items:

  • All Pets
  • Slayer heads (kbd/abby/kq/dark claw etc..)
  • Anglers outfit
  • Pearl Fish/Fly/Barbarian Rods
  • Golden tench
  • Spirit anglers outfit (might not be necessary cuz of tempoross npc)
  • Raids Dust (chambers/tob)
  • Twisted ancestral kit
  • Carpenters outfit
  • Amy's Saw
  • Plank sack
  • Pest Control log
  • Farmers outfit + Gricollers Can
  • Pyromancer outfit

This list is comprised of items looked over Alora's Collection log for example, i may or may not be 100% accurate but this suggestion would probably make it easier for those that work towards filling their collection log and have achieved some items prior to the log being updated. This can also work towards the future when updates are released and the collection log isn't updated right away but a player receives that item in the first few weeks before the developers get around to having it activate, they can come a later time and use this NPC to update their log on untradeable items

#398020 [22/05/21] Tempoross, Wilderness, Combat and CoX changes & more!

Hello everyone,

Today's update brings some brand new content that was recently introduced to OSRS: the Fishing boss, Tempoross! This instanced boss, will require that you stay on top of your game to effectively take down the Spirit of the Sea. You'll have the chance to obtain some great rewards, including the elusive Tiny Tempor pet, Tome of water, Spirit Angler's outfit, Tackle box to store fishing equipment, and more! Additionally, we've taken some time to fix up some combat/wilderness mechanics and bring the PvP side of the game up to scratch. We've still got more work to do on that front, and we'll be introducing more PvP related updates in the near future. We'll let you have a look at the full list below:

  • Tempoross:
    • A very large thanks to @Classic for helping provide all the necessary information to help us make Tempoross an enjoyable experience.
    • Tempoross and the content that comes with it has come to Alora!
    • Players can join the fight against Tempoross by speaking to the Teleport wizard and going to the minigames section and teleporting to the Tempoross area.
      • Tempoross Minigame:
        • Players can start this mini-game by boarding the boat on the dock, and waiting a few seconds for the next game to start.
        • Games start every 30 seconds, and will take up to 40 people on the boat to an instanced Tempoross cove where they can take part in the fight against Tempoross.
        • Interface:
          • Upon entering, players will have an interface that shows 3 bars containing Tempoross’ essence, energy, and the storm intensity.
            • Players will also see their points during the fight, and a compass with 4 totems, which will update based on if the totems are damaged or have fires spreading nearby.
        • Once player’s arrive, Tempoross will begin to gain Energy, starting at 50%, and once it reaches 100%, Tempoross will rise and begin to fight back.
          • Players must load the ammunition crates with harpoon fish that can be fished at fishing spots around the island.
            • At some points while Tempoross is active, some fishing spots will provide a chance to obtain double Harpoonfish.
            • These fish are obtained as Raw Harpoonfish, and will provide the player with 5 points for each fish obtained.
              • Cooking these fish on the nearby shrine will provide 10 points, and deal greater damage to Tempoross.
              • Cooked harpoonfish deal 15 damage, while raw harpoonfish deal 8-12 damage.
            • Loading the harpoonfish into the cannon will provide 20 points for raw harpoonfish, and 65 points for cooked harpoonfish.
              • As long as Tempoross is active (energy = 100%), and the cannons are not stunned, they will be able to fire harpoonfish at Tempoross.
        • Throughout the cove, players will find crates filled with buckets/ropes/hammers/haroons, and taps to fill their buckets with.
        • Tempoross has 3 main attacks when active:
          • Wave attack: A huge wave covers the cove, and forces players to tether themselves to a nearby mast to avoid losing their harpoonfish/tools.
            • Surviving the wave attack will provide players with 10 points.
            • The wave attack will also put out any fires that are spreading throughout the cove.
          • Lightning attack: There are 6 storm clouds around the island, and occasionally they will blow over near totems/busy locations and release a bolt of lightning that will cause a fire in that area.
            • These fires will spread every so often, and for every game tick a player is inside of one, they’ll lose some common equipment (harpoonfish, buckets, ropes, harpoons, etc..).
            • Players can put out fires with buckets of water, obtaining 40 points for each fire they douse.
          • Torrent attack: While tempoross is active, he will sometimes sent torrents towards a random cannon to shock it, rendering it unable to fire harpoonfish for a certain period of time.
        • Once players take tempoross’ energy to 0%, he will retreat into the water, summoning spirit pools at the edge of both docks.
          • Players can harpoon these spirit pools, dealing damage to Tempoross’ essence, and receiving 55 points per hit.
          • After a short time, Tempoross will recover and rise again if his essence hasn’t been reduced to 0.
        • Once Tempoross’ essence is reduced to 0%, players will have successfully completed the mini-game, and receive reward permits based on their contribution.
          • The first reward permit is earned after achieving 2,000 points, and players can earn another permit for every 700 points after that.
            • Players will also have a chance to gain an extra permit for the extra points they have.
              • For example, if a player finished with 3,200 points, they will be guaranteed 2 permits (2,700 points), and have a chance to get another permit with their remaining points (500).
                • The closer the remaining points are to 700, the more likely it is for a player to get the extra permit.
    • Reward Pool:
      • Players can fish out of the reward pool just off the dock to receive the rewards from Tempoross.
        • Each reward fished consumes 1 reward permit.
      • Obtainable rewards:
        • Among many miscellaneous rewards, which can be found in the link below, Tempoross also has a chance to give the following unique rewards:
          • Soaked page:
            • These pages can be used to charge the Tome of Water.
          • Fish Barrel:
            • This barrel stores up to 28 raw fish, excluding harpoonfish and stackable fish.
              • Players can right-click this item to either open/close it.
                • If the barrel is open, raw fish that are picked up or fished will automatically be deposited into the barrel if it’s not full.
            • Players can also use this item on the Fish Sack, obtained from Aerial Fishing, to obtain the Fish Sack Barrel, which is an equippable version of the fish barrel.
          • Tackle Box:
            • This box provides players with the ability to store nearly all fishing related items, with a useful interface to track the items they have stored.
            • Players can store up to 99,999 of each type of item.
            • There’s a total of 45 unique fishing related items that can be stored, including the angler set, spirit angler set, dragon harpoon, infernal harpoon, etc…
          • Big harpoonfish:
            • Players can hang this up in their Skill trophy room to be displayed.
          • Tome of Water:
            • This is a shield-slot item similar to the Tome of Fire, and requires 50 magic to wield.
              • It can be charged with soaked pages, with each page adding 20 charges, holding a maximum of 1,000 pages.
            • The tome, similar to the Tome of Fire, provides unlimited water runes when equipped.
            • A charged Tome of water will provide players with a 20% accuracy and damage boost to any water spells used (excluding ice spells in the ancient spell book).
              • Each cast that provides the effect will consume 1 charge from the tome.
            • The Tome of water can also be traded in for 25 soaked pages to the Retired sailor in the Tempoross area.
          • Dragon Harpoon
          • Tiny Tempor pet
          • Spirit flakes:
            • Players can use spirit flakes for 3 purposes:
              • 1.Recoloring the Heron pet:
                • If a player uses 3,000 spirit flakes on their Heron, they can turn it into a Great Blue Heron.
                  • To undo this, they can use a raw fish on the Great Blue Heron.
                  • Once the 3,000 spirit flakes have been consumed, players will only require 1 Spirit flake to change the Heron back to the Great Blue Heron in the future, rather than all 3,000.
              • 2.Fishing double fish:
                • Players who are fishing with Spirit flakes in their inventory will have a 50% chance to obtain a bonus fish upon each catch.
                  • 1 Spirit flake will be consumed after each catch, regardless of if a bonus fish was caught.
              • 3.Creating the Spirit angler outfit:
                • Players can use pieces of the Angler set on Gita Prymes on the Tempoross dock to turn it into the spirit angler outfit.
                  • Each piece costs 1,200 Spirit flakes to recolour.
                    • Players can use the pieces on Gita to freely trade back and forth between spirit/regular angler once the initial 1,200 Spirit flake fee has been paid for that piece.
                  • The spirit angler set is similar to the Angler outfit, providing a maximum 2.5% bonus experience in fishing.
                    • This set can also be stored in the Armour case in a players house.
                    • This set also provides the ability to tether to masts in Tempoross without requiring a rope in their inventory.
          • Tempoross casket:
          • Other rewards:
        • Players will also have higher chances to fish better loot out of the reward pool based on their donator rank and if whether or not they’re using a drop booster.
    • Client related changes:
      • Players can also now see the Tempoross kill counts on the Runelite Hiscore plugin in the Boss section.
      • The loot tracker plugin will now track Tempoross reward pool rewards, and the caskets that come from the reward pool.
  • Bug Fixes:
    • The xp drops from Blast Furnace will now be grouped together in 1 tick, rather than sending multiple xp drops for each bar.
    • Immortal donators or higher will now make 4-dose antidote and antidote+ potions.
    • Players will now need to wait 30 seconds to re-enter the kraken instance after leaving.
      • This is to firstly fix a bug where players could sometimes force 2 kraken’s to spawn, and also to stop players from leaving/re-entering instances to get around the respawn timer.
    • Spirit tree's will now have a "Check-health" option when they've fully grown, rather than an "inspect" option.
    • Players can no longer use the spear special attack on NPC's with a size larger than 1 tile.
    • Making Pegasian, Primordial, and Eternal boots will now provide 200 runecrafting and magic experience.
    • Fixed an issue where the group ironman kick timer would show 0 hours when there was less than 1 hour left.
      • It will now show the minutes left if there’s less than an hour until the team can kick another member.
    • The Ranger kit now requires 40 Ranged to equip.
      • The items included are:
        • Ranger boots
        • Ranger’s tunic
        • Ranger’s tights
        • Ranger gloves
        • Robin Hood hat
    • Vengeance other can now only be cast on other players.
    • Potentially fixed an issue where the highest login streak would reset even if the player had kept their daily login streak.
      • Please let us know if this issue persists, and we’ll investigate it further.
    • The nightmare energy barrier will now remove players from the session the first time they select "Leave", rather than requiring it to be done twice.
    • NPC's in the Revenant cave will no longer PJ players when they're in combat.
    • Fixed a bug where the shift-click swap in the MenuEntrySwapper plugin was not properly allowing players to change their shift-click option to "Use" rather than "Drop".
    • Fixed a bug where inventory presets would not withdraw all the items/equipment in the preset if the player wasn't on the main bank tab.
    • Fixed a bug where the totem status indicators would be tracking the wrong totem.
    • Hopefully fixed an issue that was causing inconsistencies for saving 2FA devices on Linux.
    • Fixed a bug where some emoji's wouldn't show up in clan chat or yell.
    • Fixed a bug where the runelite stamina potion timer would only show 2 minutes rather than 4 even if the player had the ring of endurance effect active.
    • Fixed an issue with the winch animation at Cerberus on 2010 mode being broken.
    • Fixed a bugged animation with the Revenant cave teleport tablet on 2010 mode.
    • When removing/adding items to the Duel arena staking interface, the red chatbox messages sometimes showed the incorrect amount that were added or removed (If you right-clicked "Add-5" but only had 1, it would tell the opponent you added 5). This should no longer occur.
  • Quality of Life:
    • The Item Charge plugin will now show the Bracelet of Slaughter and Expeditious Bracelet charges
    • Players with 99 crafting who don't have the Falador Hard diary completed can now access the crafting guild bank chest.
    • The Ardougne hard diary task to "Harvest 9 Whiteberries" will now account for the fact that players now harvest 2 berries from bushes rather than 1.
    • Players can now kill Cyclops' as part of Hill giant slayer tasks.
    • The drop rate of the Elite clue scroll from Sarachnis is now 1/60, rather than 1/121.
    • Npc's will now wait 1 tick after the hit splat appears to attack a player when retaliating, rather than an instant attack.
    • The npc aggression plugin will now recognize ammonite crabs as permanently aggressive.
      • This would cause issues if players added their names to the npc aggression checker list, and it would consider them non-aggressive for players with a combat level over 50.
    • Added a "Check" option on the Bracelet of Ethereum when equipped.
    • The Bracelet of Ethereum will now properly try to add the ether player's receive into their bracelet if they have absorption toggled on.
      • The limit of charges on the bracelets is 16,000, so any charges over that limit will simply be added to the player’s inventory.
      • Players must still have enough room to receive the ether in their inventory for Absorption to work properly.
    • Players will now receive a message telling them to try again in a few seconds if they use the bounty hunter teleport when their target is crossing an obstacle.
      • This is to make sure the attacker doesn’t get stuck on an obstacle, and to make sure the attacker is on the proper side of the obstacle when they teleport in.
    • Nylocas can no longer deal any damage if they have 0 hitpoints.
      • Previously, Nylocas would return a retaliatory attack even if the hit killed them, but now if they have 0 hitpoints, the damage they deal will always be 0.
    • Players will now automatically cut dark essence blocks every 1.8 seconds.
      • Players can still spam cut the dark essence blocks for faster results if they choose to do so.
    • The odds of getting the Golden Tench from Aerial Fishing have been increased to 1/15000 rather than 1/20000.
    • Pressing the space key to repeat the last action in the skilling interface will now default to the first option if the previous action was greater than the current number of actions that are available.
      • For example, if you were glassblowing, using the 8th option, and then switched to crafting bows, and pressed space, previously nothing would happen, since there was no 8th option.
        • Now, it will default to the first option available.
    • Players can now decant potions into empty vials.
      • For example, using a 4 dose prayer potion on an empty vial will split the potion in half, producing 2 2-dose prayer potions.
    • Clicking on emoji's in the Emoji Panel will now properly add an emoji to the input text if a player's is private messaging someone.
    • Players can now build the mounted Mythical cape in their Quest Hall, which will provide unlimited teleports to the Myth's guild.
      • This requires 47 construction to build, and provides 370 base Construction experience.
        • To build the cape, players will require 3 teak planks and 1 Mythical cape.
    • The Ring of Endurance now has a right-click "Check" option when it is equipped.
    • Slightly increased the duration that ore veins in the upper level of the Motherlode mine will last.
    • Players will no longer fail to pickpocket the Master farmer if the following conditions are met:
      • The player has at least 94 Thieving and the Ardougne Hard diary completed.
      • The player has 99 thieving and the Thieving skill cape (or any equivalent) equipped.
    • Players can now trade in noted Ancient artefacts to the Emblem trader in the Revenant cave.
  • Gauntlet Changes:
    • The Hunllef will now perform an animation to indicate that it's switching attack styles after 4 hits.
    • The Hunllef's will now always start with it's range attack, rather than it's magic attack.
    • Added the proper music soundtrack when players are doing the Gauntlet Minigame.
  • Wilderness/combat changes:
    • Wilderness changes:
      • NPCs that are level 3 and under will no longer be aggressive (eg. Rats, Spiders, Men, etc).
      • Blighted sacks can now be used in the Edgeville PvP instance, and the area surrounding the Ferox enclave.
        • For the area surrounding the Ferox enclave, you can only use the blighted sacks if you are in a PvP situation. Usually that area is safe, but if you are teleblocked, or you are fighting a target who is teleblocked, you are considered to be in a PvP situation and can use blighted sacks.
      • Multi-combat line changes:
        • The south-east corner of the Ferox enclave now matches OSRS, as some areas around there were not intended to be multi-combat.
          • Skotizo's level 12 wilderness spawn has been moved slightly south to level 9 wilderness to account for these changes, as the original spot would have been close to a single-combat zone.
      • Wildy login graphics fixed:
        • The swirl that wraps around you when you log into the wilderness was broken, showing the entangle graphic rather than the blue swirls that should show up around you. This has been fixed.
      • Welcome screen removal:
        • When logging into Alora while you are in the wilderness, the welcome screen will no longer appear and you will immediately enter the game.
      • Logout time:
        • When a player would log out, it would sometimes take 3 or 4 ticks for the character to disappear. This was misleading in the Wilderness, as you could see them but not attack them.
          • Characters will now despawn as soon as the player logs out.
      • Wilderness agility course escape:
        • If you use the Bounty Hunter Teleport to reach your target and they are in the Wilderness agility course, it was possible to get stuck if you didn't have level 52 Agility.
          • The rocks at the end of the course no longer have an Agility level requirement, allowing players to leave the course and not get stuck there. The rocks do not give any experience unless you've completed the entire lap beforehand.
      • The recent kills board will no longer display a negative Wilderness level for kills in the Edgeville PvP instance, and it will now be stated that the kill took place in ;;edgepvp.
      • If your target is not in the Wilderness, the Bounty Hunter interface will now say that they are in a Safezone (rather than stating that they are in level 1-4 wildy).
      • Bounty hunter teleport will now place you closer to your target, within 6 steps rather than 8. This is important if your target was already running before you teleported to them, you might've previously teleported and they would not be in your line of sight at all.
  • Lunar spell changes:
    • All Lunar spells that can be cast on other players (eg. Vengeance other, potion share, etc) can no longer be used in single-combat Wilderness areas — only multi-combat Wilderness areas, or outside of the Wilderness.
  • Combat changes: (Big thanks to @Dreamland and @P0P SM0KE)
    • Prayer fixes:
      • As some of you have noticed, the prayer fixes from last update broke a few things. We're now confident that we've made the proper change so that prayer-protection is handled at the right time.
    • Ranged fixes:
      • Ranged accuracy fix:
        • We have tweaked Ranged accuracy slightly to be more in-line with OSRS after reports of Ranged attack accuracy being too low.
      • Bolt special attack fixes:
        • Dragonstone (e) bolt damage nerf:
          • Bolt special damage for dragon bolts (e) was incorrect and has now been corrected to add 20% of your visible Ranged level (Eg. Add 22 damage if your Ranged level is boosted to 112).
            • Previously, it was boosting damage without looking at the Ranged level, leading to higher boosts at times.
            • With that being said, it will also now land hits more consistently, where the previous bolt effects might hit only 1 damage at times, this bolt special now has a minimum hit based on your visible Ranged level (eg. 22 damage if you are boosted to 112 Ranged).
        • Craw's bow damage fix:
          • The damage boost on Craw's bow was incorrectly being applied in PvP situations, and will now only apply in PvM as intended.
        • ;;maxhit fix:
          • Previously, ;;maxhit would show your Ranged special max hit as a higher number when wearing a crossbow (Armadyl crossbow, for example), even though the Armadyl crossbow does not actually provide a boost to damage.
            • This is because it was showing the bolt special, but to prevent confusion, we've stopped including the max damage from the bolt special in the ;;maxhit command.
        • Morrigan's javelin special attack fix:
          • You will no longer see a message that you start to bleed from the special attack if you are already bleeding.
        • Bolt effect + Crossbow special stacking:
          • Previously, it was not possible to have a bolt special effect trigger when using the Armadyl crossbow or DHCB special attack. This has been changed, and the two can now stack, providing increased accuracy from the bow and increase damage from the bolt effect.
      • Ranged distance fix:
        • Longbows now have an attack range of 10 steps on both normal and long range attack styles (previously 9 on normal, 10 on long-range).
    • Granite maul fixes:
      • Previously, it was possible to do a Gmaul->AGS(or any other melee weapon) hit in the same tick. There is now a 1-tick delay, as intended.
      • Additionally, it was sometimes possible to hit get a free hit at the end of the Gmaul spec in the same tick, this should no longer occur.
    • Eldricht/Volatile Nightmare staff fixes:
      • When using the special attacks on either of the Nightmare staves, it would not put your target into combat, so someone else could quickly hop in after the spec and steal your target from you. This should no longer occur, and your target will be considered to be in combat after your spec.
      • Additionally, if you are not yet in combat and use the staff special on a target, it would pull you up to the player until you are one tile away before performing the special if you didn't have autocast set.
        • Instead, you can now cast the special attack from a distance, and if your next attack would be melee (no autocast) you will be forced to run up after it.
    • Target PJing mechanic fixes:
      • Fixed a bug where you couldn't hit your target back even if they were attacking you, because someone else was attacking them.
      • You can now properly PJ your target off of an NPC, even if you are both in combat with NPCs.
    • Revenant caves fix:
      • If a player is attacking another player in the Revenant caves, even if the target is not retaliating, they can no longer be attacked by any other player.
  • Castle wars changes:
    • Bandages can now be used without any delay whatsoever, and you can eat as many as you can click on in a tick (same as in OSRS). They also will no longer delay your combat or potion drinking as they used to.
  • Last Man Standing changes:
    • The number of players required to start a game has been reduced from 8 to 6.
  • Chambers of Xeric changes:
    • Skeletal mystics changes:
      • Reduced Skeletal mystic accuracy by 30% across the board.
    • Vasa Nistirio changes:
      • The rock projectiles will no longer lock onto players sometimes.
        • Previously there was a 33% chance that the boulder would lock onto a player and cause unavoidable damage.
      • Players will now received 40% reduced damage from the boulder attack if they have protect from missiles activated.
    • Ice demon changes:
      • The arclight 70% damage/accuracy boost will now apply to the Ice demon.
      • Fire spells now do 150% damage on the Ice demon.
    • Farming room:
      • Players can now right-click the tools to select an individual tool (rather than be prompted with a chatbox dialogue to select a specific tool).
      • Added a pickup sound and bend animation when grabbing tools.
    • Potion changes:
      • Players can now decant all raids potions, including decanting potions into empty gourds.
      • The Elder (+), Kodai (+), and Twisted (+) potions will now boost your corresponding stat by boost = 6 + 16% of your current level.
        • This means at level 99, players will be boosted to 120 rather than 112.
      • Players will no received a boost from the Elder/Twisted/Kodai potions outside of the Chambers of Xeric.
    • Creature keeper changes:
      • Players will now obtain 40 base Thieving experience when finding cave worms in the Creature Keeper puzzle room.
    • Tekton:
      • Magic and Ranged attacks are now ineffective against Tekton.
  • Collection Log Changes:
    • Fixed a bug where the Jar of Spirits from Corporeal Beast wouldn't show up in the collection log when a player received one.
      • Any player who received/receives one during this period will have their collection logs automatically updated to show that they’ve received it.
    • Wintertodt has been added as a collection log boss entry:
      • The items players previously obtained will not count towards this log.
    • Tempoross has been added as a collection log boss entry.
