General Info:

If you have a bugged clue step it is likely due to you using HD mode.

To fix the issue for now, just disable HD so you are able to view the clue step.

Runelite is now implemented and has a Clue Scroll plugin, would highly recommend enabling this for clues.

 

Map Info:

Orange Circle = Start/Teleport spot

Red Star = Clue position

 

Average Clue Attempts:

1-3 Easy

3-6 Medium

4-6 Hard

5-7 Elite

8-10 Master

As it seems a lot of people have been having issues regarding their accounts being hacked, I am making this thread to show you around the different two-factor authentication applications, and how to use them. You can have a Two-factor Authentication applications saved onto your mobile device, or your computer. Depending on your preference. But please; DON'T DELETE THE APPLICATION, OR WRITE DOWN THE BACKUP CODE.

 

  Two-factor Authentication (2FA) provides and extra layer of security for your account, generating a code which you need to enter once you login. If you have 2FA set-up, and fail to provide the code, you cannot have full access to the account. Once enabled, you have to initially enter a code to login to the Forums and In-game. It is strongly recommended to have 2FA enabled.

 

A list of Two-factor Authentication applications supported by Alora:

 

- Duo-Mobile

- Google Authentication

- Authy

- WinAuth

Most Two-factor Authentication are rather straight-forward. But in the future I will possibly add how to use each program if requested. As of right now, I use Duo-Mobile as my application and it works great.

Definitely not to turning off damage required. It would cause too many leechers.

 

Instead do a ratio based on players to portal health.

 

10 players = 200 ~ portal health x4

15 players = 350 ~

20 = 500

 

Numbers aren't exact and would require tweaking. This is just an estimate.

I think it would be nice to add npc or something which would exchange rare drops from bosses for clue scrolls. For example dragon halberd at zulrah is 0,67% so you could change it to hard clue or something like that. Something like serpentine helm for elite clue. And it would only work for ironmen, cuz normies would get tons of clue scrolls. Because its no point to have like 10 rare items in the bank for ironman unless you wanna go for next level pk :D

Ok ok... It's all good that Zulrah got buffed, and it takes twice as long to kill it and everything.... But seriously, i believe i can get "most" ironmen behind me to say that considering the food we use to get some useless skilling drops that has no use to us at all on this server makes it not worth at all going zulrah, except camping for those unique drops, which again has over a whooping 400 drop rate per item.

 

We use over a full inv of food, which we ourselves have to catch on our own, spending our time on it, only to get skilling supplies which have no use here... Grapes/Snakeskin/Flax/Tar/Calquat seed AND even more! 

 

If you decide to buff zulrah, please make it worth to us ironmen to actually do it...

Support!, even as a hardcore/ironman it's annoying seeing people spamming asking for money etc, it's not hard too make money what so ever on this game.. You have my support.

Before i get started, I want to say I know what the answers will be, but you guys have a way of surprising me sometimes lol. This is not true OS content I'm suggesting, but I think it'd make for a nice little addition, and also add more willingness to max out skills. 

 

 

RS3 has the 120 particle capes. I've seen some particle max capes on some servers, and I was wondering;

 

Would it be possible to add a particle cape for when you reach 200m xp in skills? These would be normal skillcapes with particle effects on the bottom of it, or on the shoulders. or maybe a new cape all together.

 

I know this is getting into the whole custom-content area of things, which, I'm also aware of, is not a route Alora wants to take. 

 

 

how would the community feel about this?

Hold on, isn't total xp already in-game? In the top right where the orbs are, the "XP Button." That displays your Total xp. Is that not it?  :huh:

Would be nice indeed but it's always hard to code a custom pet.

Also if this will get accepted, not to sure though, heard someone say imp with a cooking hat once, thought @Jare mentioned it.
