How would this benefit Alora?: The Catacombs can get quite packed with players completing slayer tasks. With this being a 1 world server, it gets challenging and frustrating for players when multiple people are trying to complete a task and get crashed usually causing people to flame. Especially on the weekends when the online player count is higher. This would be a nice QOL option for players to avoid this and also an increased value to instance tokens. I know this was possible during league mode so hoping it could be an easy addition if approved.

Add Smith's Gloves (i) = Smith's Gloves + Ice gloves

 

Add the 100% chance for increased preform progress when using the smith's outfit at Giants' Foundry

How would this benefit Alora?:

Would allow players to combine the perks of both smith gloves and ice gloves.

Eliminates the need to switch to ice gloves or use buckets of water at the blast furnace and giant's foundry.

Helps players receive faster foundry reputation which will shorten the time it takes to unlock the other items in the store.

First of all I ask the condolences of the entire server

 

@gabrifane99 unfortunately on 15th September a great friend, member of Alora and loved by the entire Portuguese and Brazilian community passed away, he had a terrible motorcycle accident and we are all in grief.
He was a pure person , friend of friend and always willing to help everyone , so in honor of him , me @Call m Daddy  @Andcom2 , @cracatoa29 , @windsondom , @Iron Lcs1
@xMizticz and @MesutBrozil decided to organize a Drop-Party in honor of the wonderful person he was, always trying to help everyone, never minding about the pixels and always in a good mood and laughing.

Before finishing, we would like to ask that at the end of the Drop-Party to everyone not to leave and that they could SPAM a message in the chat saying:

I decided to keep the grind going and try and keep my spot as #1 Nightmare killer with the rank 1 Nightmare time of 10:35.

I only recieved 6 drops including 2 jars in the last 1000kc and am currently on a 308 Solo dry streak. I am currently working towards completing another orb set + staff and this time I might actually keep the staff and orbs haha.

No.  These hunts are unique to Alora!

No.  We recently got a buff to the Golden Trench drop rate in the last update, so I think aerial fishing can use some more love and attention.

 

How would this benefit Alora?:

Aerial fishing is a fairly braindead activity that takes up a lot of time.

A weekly trench hunt could encourage players to gradually work towards the unlocks rather than simply avoiding the activity all together.

What is your suggestion?:

Allow the Tomes of Fire/Water to retain their full bonuses without degrading once a player stores X amount of pages.

 

Is this in OSRS?:

No, but adding this feature to Alora would be similar to the charging the blade of saeldor with crystal shards, god books with god pages, and abyssal whip with tentacle.

How would this benefit Alora?:

This change would benefit players by making it easier to maintain the tomes in PVM.

Currently, the maintenance cost to constantly replenish pages discourages players from using the tomes.

It's a constant hassle that I think the community would rather have as a one time struggle.

Just have players collect 100, 500, or 1000 pages (max tomes hold in OSRS), and let them be done with it!

This will drive up the price of pages in the trading post and increase Tempoross/Wintertodt activity by giving players more of a reason to both collect pages and use their tomes.

 

Additional Information

You can expect just under 250 pages from 1000 permits at Tempoross (with drop booster)

At 70 seconds per permit, 250 pages is roughly a 20 hour grind.

You believe that players who cannot buy the pages are going to have a much harder time getting tomes/pages than they are already having now... why?  Im confused.

 

This suggestion doesn't change the method of obtaining the tome of fire / water or the pages.  That stays exactly the same.

 

It just allows players to use the tomes without worrying about charges once they have charged it once.

 

Arguing that this suggestion is going to make it harder for ironmen in the future to obtain tomes...  is like saying... 

 

... NOT having abyssal tentacle degrade... makes it harder for ironmen to obtain tentacles.

 

It makes no sense.

 

How are you going to say "I want to see the minigame played and loved" while simultaneously suggesting alternatives to the minigame (like adding pages to the vote, achievement, and loyalty shops)?  Putting pages in those shops is literally a work-around to doing the actual minigame. 

It would just give players less reason to participate in the minigame.  By the way, pages are already in the vote shop.

Decrease the quest point requirement to access Prifddinas from 10 to 9.

Sort of, Mage Arena 2 isn't a pre-requisite for the Song of the Elves quest in OSRS, in fact the quest pre-reqs aren't all that steep. As it currently stands, doing all quests aside from MA2 grants you 9QP.

No, I couldn't find anything related to it.

 

How would this benefit Alora?:

Alora would be slightly more in line, or "1:1" with OSRS. Furthermore HCIM accounts wouldn't need to build their accounts around doing Mage Arena 2 at a combat level where it's very unlikely for them to be PK'd. I've come to terms with the fact that I personally can't do Lumby Elite Diary and that I'll have to get infinity boots from crystal keys unless I wanna risk my status, but I do feel that Prifddinas shouldn't be locked behind a risk like that. This would for sure mostly benefit HCIM, but it doesn't seem like too crazy of a change. To me the biggest downside is that "You need 9 quest points to access Prifddinas" looks far uglier than 10, lol.
