A huge group of sweaty nerds gathered in Falador to protest 

The protest then later moved by flesh train to Edgeville.

 

The protest was related to the on-going GIM event which has caused bonus experience-less weekends.

The key figures in the protest was the train conductor Chuckoramma1, Forum moderator Morgen attended the riot, although his standing is questionable.

 

Rumor has it that Lowkey ignited the spark which caused the riot with a recent Discord message of his

 

After several minutes of non-stop spamming the community had their wish come true.

A devestated staff team reluctantly turned on bonus experience to quell the rebellion

 

This poor attempt failed to extinguish the passion of the rebellion - so it continued.

 

Rumor has it that top tier staff members such as event managers and admins may be targeted by riot assassins.
The Riot ended at 02:22 Server time.

The tension was high in Falador, and as you can see, Chuck was elected Cult leader.

 

Here you can see the train leaving Falador, headed towards Edgeville, official Home of Alora.

 

 

The path towards Edgeville is long and tiresome

Chuck leads the train with flawless pathfinding, bringing out the beauty of Alora's environment

 

 

When the Riot reached Edgeville the riot peaked and the spamming commenced.

 

 

Overheads were activated and the Riot had a level 52  prayer requirement.

 

 

As if Agility and Puro Puro didn't make you walk in circles enough.

Black chincompas are very spread and located in wilderness, hence lined up red chinchompas is much faster.

Group Ironman Removal Ticket

This will be a short guide on how to use the GIM Removal Ticket.
 
I recently had the pleasure to experience kicking a group member; afraid to screw something up I searched for a guide, but to no avail - thus I'm making one!
 
Follow the process below and you can feel safe the day you have to kick someone.

Update TL;DR

1. You can leave a group by using the ticket on yourself.
   No vote is initiated for this kick.
    -->
    
2. In order to kick a player your team must have at least 3 members.
    
3. A Group Ironman can de-iron (weak) if he isn't currently in any group.
   This means that you must leave your current group with a GIM Removal Ticket.
    --> weak
    
4. When the vote is initiated the group members has 48 Hours to vote.
   If an insufficient amount of players vote, the player wont be kicked. duh.
   
    
5. Only one vote can be active at a time.

 

Step 0:

Purchasing the ticket

The ticket can be transferred from a non-GIM account by using it on another player, just like a bond.

This means that you can purchase it from another player if you aren't able to pay for it yourself.

Onyxpected Onyx

 
There are several ways of obtaining an Onyx in Alora.
Many of these ways require a certain amount of resources, luck or time.
 
You can attempt to aquire one from the Crystal chest.
Without the luck of a staff member  , I wouldn't count on it.
 
You can defeat "Difficult" bosses such as Skotizo and Zulrah for a meager chance at the beautiful black gem.
 

Alternatively 

You could acquire it guaranteed by purchasing it with 300K Tokkul .
 
Killing Jad 10 times could earn you close to 300,000 Tokkul, as well as the "Baby Jad" Achievement, but...

Personally, I would take the easy way out 
 
 

 

There is another way folks!!!

By killing the TzHaar people and selling their items for Tokkul, you can quickly amass the 300K Onyx threshold!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Recommendationz

These are recommendations - not requirements.

None of the levels below are necessary.

• 94 Magic
  - To cast Ice Barrage
  
  - To cast Level-6 Enchant (For Onyx Jewelry)
  
   
• 43 Prayer

  - To craft the Onyx into an Amulet (Most popular choice)
  
   

Get a slayer task!

If you have a black mask or a  slayer helmet you can deal 15% more damage to your assigned slayer task.

This is too good to miss out on!
Note that if you use range / mage you must imbue your mask/helm.

 

In order to get the task you must unlock "Hot Stuff" from your slayer master

 

This will cost 100 Slayer points. Whether or not this is worth it is up to you.

 

 

 

This method is ideal for relatively new accounts.

Accounts in situations such as ...
 
A Hardcore Ironman not willing to risk it at Money Snake  just yet.

An Elite or a Group Ironman who wants to grab one or two for them and their partner(s).

An Ultimate Ironman who ran out of anti-venom  for Zulrah.

Any        Gamemode who has received TzHaars as a Slayer task.

The Staff  (Toktz-Mej-Tal) and Mace  (TzHaar-Ket-Em) isn't dropped by any monster, so their selling price isn't relevant and thus not included.

 

Keep in mind that if you haven't got a Fire Cape, you wont be able to sell your Obsidian armour    for Tokkul.

 

 

If you were to sell one of each item you would end up with 384.588 Tokkul

In other words, you don't have to acquire every single item to get an Onyx.

 

Example:
If you sold 2 Obsidian capes , an Obsidian Shield , a maul , a sword  and a platebody , that would amass to 305.100 Tokkul.

Befitting of someone grinding for a Black gem  you will likely gain plenty of Blue  Green  Red  and White  gems.

 

You can also expect to get quite a few ensouled heads which you can exchange for 75,000 gold at your local Slayer master.

The 'Triple S'
Sulphur Safe Spot

 

Process:
Step 1: Use either range  or mage .
Step 2: Position yourself behind a Sulphur vent.
Step 3: Attack an opponent on the other side.
Step 4: ? ? ?
Step 5: Profit.

Watch them through the gas leaking out of the vent as they struggle.

Pros
- No prayer needed 
- Doable with barely any levels and equipment

Cons
- Slow

 

 

A cold day in hell.

 

Process:

Step 1: Gather TzHaar with a projectile; darts  / knives  / arrows 

Step 2: Equip a staff  / wand 

Step 3: Auto-cast Ice Barrage 
Step 4: ? ? ?

Step 5: Profit.
 

Ice barrage can be replaced with Chinchompas  , but the efficiency will fall drastically.

 

 

Pros
- Very efficient
- Huge XP Gain

Cons
- Costly in runes

- There is a great chance that this is how your surroundings perceive you:

It does take a while to accumulate 50,000 Loyalty points, so I understand your frustration.

A heads up though, Ice gloves is already a tradable item.
 

I don't believe that lowering their price in the loyalty store is the way to go - BUT
Making Goldsmith gauntlets tradable could fix this issue, whilst also helping the team gamemodes of Alora.

 

Group ironmen and  Elite ironmen teams could arrange a deal ~
A deal where one player purchases  Ice gloves, and one purchases Goldsmith gauntlets.
With both items being tradable they can share them for a convenient symbiosis.

 

On the other hand...
I believe that some items should come as a result of being Loyal.

Lowering the price or making them aquirable by other means defeats that purpose.

 

 

Improved Implings

Overshadowed by the Realism gamemode release, Puro-Puro received a well deserved buff.
As of June 7th Puro-Puro has been a valid minigame for resources and rares.
 

 

Puro Puro changes:

• For awhile now, Puro Puro has been avoided due to the abundance of Baby implings and other low level imps, and a distinct lack of valuable imps. Here are the changes we've made to improve this mini-game:
  • Rare impling enhancement:
    • There could previously only be a maximum of 2 rare implings, this has been increased to 3, with a slight chance of a 4th rare impling appearing every so often.
  • General improvements:
    • The average imp will now be a higher level, meaning there will be far less baby implings.

The minigame is designed to gather resources, not for skilling.

To get there, speak to the Teleport Wizard in Edgeville.

You will arrive in the eye of the tornado, the center of the "maze".
 
In my opinion, it looks like a sad Minecraft attempt at an alien crop circle...

Magical wheat

The crop circle walls are referred to as "Magical wheat" 
By right-clicking it you can push-through to get to the other side. 
There are also natural openings.
 
I suggest positioning yourself in the 4th lane, so that you're just close enough to see the outer wall and the center of the circle.
 
Then just run in circles till you get dizzy.

Can't bring yourself to chasing and catching the "cute" implings?
You might want to read this!
According to Oldschool Runescape Wiki:

 

"Impetuous Impulses is a safe minigame based around the Hunter skill. In the minigame, players capture implings which are flying imp-like creatures that can be caught to obtain trinkets and treasures that they have been stealing from all over Alora. This takes place in an area called Puro-Puro."

 
 
In other words, catching imps is an act of justice. The loot you obtain from them is stolen goods. You're actually apprehending tiny criminals!

Implings

This peculiar little creature hovers around at an altitude just low enough for you to catch them, but high enough to reach Lowkey's hairline.
 
You might think that they are harmless, but after a couple of minutes and several dozen "Tee hee!" you'll change your mind.
 
There are 8 different types of Implings
 

As you can see, the dragon and lucky implings are easily distinguishable from the others, which makes them easy to spot.

 

 

Recommendations

These are recommendations - not requirements.
You can easily participate without meeting these conditions.

•  A  Hunter level of 89 (at least 83 for dragon implings)
  To be able to catch every kind of impling.
   
•  An Agility level of 99
  The higher the better!
  Alternatively, just rest.
  
  
   
•  A Herblore level of 77
  To craft Stamina potions 
  Alternatively, just right click your run icon and rest.
  
   
•  A full set of Graceful
  To save as much run energy as possible.
  
   
•  Donator status
  To be able to use the Magic butterfly net

• Filling an inventory Dragon and Lucky implings takes 10 ~ 15 minutes.
  Depending on circumstances like:
  - Other players
  - Your efficiency
  - The spawn points of the implings
   
• Puro-Puro is for resource gathering, not skilling.

I came to a realization not long ago

In Old School Runescape (and Alora)...
you can only equip a single ring and amulet at a time.

 

How come?

Why are we unable to wear more than one?

I find this very insulting!! Ever heard of 2Chainz? 

 

 

I don't know if these green circles were able to draw your attention away from Kesha Wards thighs.

I intended for them to point out that 2 Chainz currently has several rings and amulets equipped.

 

Outrageous!

Clearly there's a major issue.
Only one slot for amulets and rings!

It shouldn't be hard to 'fit in' a few more of these babies. 

 

   

 

 

 

Here's an example that I created as a potential solution.

 

 

 

But Trailerpark, how do you expect these hands to put on several rings?

 

Admittedly, these hands doesn't look like they were made for wearing rings...

They barely qualify for ass wiping.

 

 

However!

Unless you're from Chernobyl , you should have more than one finger.

I am confident that Runescape characters has a grand total 10 fingers.

 

I base my theory on the art of many gloves, such as this example

"Barrows Gloves"

 

 

 

Notice that each glove is made for hands with 5 fingers?
"Hands with 5 fingers" the less successful predecessor of Five Finger Death Punch.

 

 

Basic math:

If Ben has 2 rings and he gives them to Jack who has 10 fingers, how long does it take to travel the distance between my backyard and Saturn at a speed of 3925 bald eagles per school shooting?

 

 

 

Even if my theory is proven wrong, and Runescape characters only has one single finger, it is still physically possible to wear more than one ring!

 

 

As the red circle flawlessly emphasizes, one finger can flex several round jewelry objects.
