This month we have a special interview with the one and only Omicron!
 
Lucifers GIM: What made you want to create the best OSRS private server (Alora)?
Omicron: RSPS has always fascinated me, and I have been in the community for about 15 years now, which feels surreal to say. A year before Alora was launched, I decided to approach things differently and really give it my best shot to create a quality experience in the RSPS scene, which I felt was lacking at the time, especially for OSRS Economy servers. I wanted to create a community where people could feel like they belonged, and where they could trust that they'd always enjoy their time there, and that even if they took a break from the game, the team behind it would continue to improve upon it as best as we could.
 
Lucifers GIM: When you aren't coding and working on Alora, what are some things you enjoy doing in your free time?
Omicron: When I get out of the coding cave, my hobbies are pretty standard. I read a lot, and enjoy the simple things such as going on walks with my dog, or lifting some weights. I also love to travel when I get the chance, experiencing new cultures is important to me.
 
Lucifers GIM: What's your favorite part about Alora in general, and why?
Omicron: Without a doubt, the community. There's a lot that I'm proud of that myself, Chad, or the staff team directly had a part in, but when I first launched this game I didn't expect it to foster such a strong, dedicated and welcoming community that would become a second family to many of us. I don't think many (if any) other servers have such a community.
 
Lucifers GIM: What movie title best describes your life, and why?
Omicron: Probably "Too Young to Be a Dad", although I have accepted that it is my responsibility to be the dad of Alora.
 
Lucifers GIM: What is the luckiest thing that has ever happened to you?
Omicron: I do think that there was a lot of luck involved in Alora coming together, and I feel blessed to have been able to keep this ship afloat for nearly 6 years.
 
Lucifers GIM: What are you looking forward to in the coming months?
Omicron: Raids 3, without a doubt. I've always had a great time implementing the previous raids and watching players enjoy the content, and it is content that players will be able to enjoy for years to come, so it will be something that I am sure we're all looking forward to.
 
Lucifers GIM: What could you give a long presentation on without any preparation?
Omicron: Pretty much what you'd expect, which is how to run an RSPS. There is a lot that goes into it, especially in the early stages, and at this point it is something that I have internalized and can speak on without preparation.
 
Lucifers GIM: What is a hobby you would get into if time and money weren't an issue?
Omicron: Being able to skillfully play the guitar is something that I've wanted to do for a long time, but could never find enough time to dedicate to it. I still dabble in it occasionally but always seem to get too busy or lose the motivation to continue. Someday, I'll serenade Moe with a few songs.   ;)
 
Lucifers GIM: Who's your go to band or artist when you can't figure out what to listen to, and why?
Omicron: Probably The Weeknd, I've been listening to his music for years and feel like you can't go wrong with it.

Kyle: Being able to engage with the amazing Alora community and provide (hopefully) entertaining events.
 
Lucifers GIM: What kind of things do you see coming in the future of Alora? (IE: Updates, New Skills, etc.)
Kyle: EoC and the removal of Wilderness. (Shut up Kyle  :Wtf:)
 
Lucifers GIM: What are those things that you're too old to do but you still enjoy?
Kyle: You're never too old to do stuff, so I refuse to answer!
 
Lucifers GIM: If you were given the chance to make your one wish come true, what would it be?
Kyle: I would wish that no child would ever get any form of terminal illness, as no child should have to suffer with illnesses such as cancer, etc.
 
Lucifers GIM: If you could have lunch with one person from history, who would it be?
Kyle: Chester Bennington

Let's start off with ... Brambo
 
Lucifers GIM: What do you enjoy most about being a part of the staff team?
Brambo: Interacting with the community and helping people out (questions, account recoveries, etc). Also learning the new things that we do behind the scenes of Alora.
 
Lucifers GIM: If you won the lottery, but could only buy one thing with the money, what would it be and why?
Brambo: I would buy myself a fully restored Golf MK1 that is fully new from the inside (new engine, etc) but completely original on the outside. I love those cares, I drive one myself, but having some problems with it lately...
 
Lucifers GIM: If you were given the chance to make your one wish come true, what would it be?
Brambo: This is an easy one. My wish would be to make ACDC redo their show at Riverplate back in 2009 and go there with my friends.
 
Lucifers GIM: Would you rather give up social media or eat the same dinner for life?
Brambo: I'd rather give up social media. I just love good food too much. Especially Italian food.
 
Lucifers GIM: What is your favorite thing about Alora?
Brambo: The community is something else. People been around for years and years and old gamers always seem to come back to Alora. It is like a big family.

Lucifers GIM: What are you currently working on in game?
Fiji: Right now I'm working on my HCGIM and occasionally playing on the UIM
 
Lucifers GIM: If you could add one custom update to Alora, What would it be and why?
Fiji: Do I need to say it? Cooking NPC obviously.
 
Lucifers GIM: What is your favorite thing to do in your spare time? 
Fiji: I like to skate when I can
 
Lucifers GIM: If you had the ability to have one superpower, what would it be and why?
Fiji: The ability to let dogs know that the door bell will not hurt them.
 
Lucifers GIM: What is your favorite cartoon character and why?
Fiji: Johnny Bravo because he is just like me fr.

Let's start off with ... Aves
 
Lucifers GIM: What hobbies do you enjoy? How often do you do them?
Aves: Outside of Alora, I like to go to the gym and play disc golf. I work out 6 days a week but sadly only get to play disc golf 3-4 times a month (heavily dependent on weather).
 
Lucifers GIM: Do you have any Alora goals you're working towards?
Aves: Currently, I'm working on completing the ToB collection log and reaching 4.6b experience.
Lucifers GIM: How has your experience on the Staff Team been so far and what do you enjoy most about being a part of the team?
Aves: It's been awesome so far! My favorite part is how we act as a team. It creates a nice environment where people aren't afraid to ask questions since everyone is always so helpful.
 
Lucifers GIM: What update would you like to personally see happen?
Aves: Personally, I would love to see a ToB rework! While it's fun with friends, the content is a little stale and I think a rework would bring a whole new surge of activity to the raid.
 
Lucifers GIM: What is one trend you wish would come back in style?
Aves: I don't know if it's a "trend" but I really like oversized shirts/hoodies.

Lucifers GIM: How has it been taking over the Bald ones spot as the new Community Manager?
Moe: Honestly transitioning into the new position was pretty easy, and the experience overall so far has been great. I'm happy to have reached this far and have met so many great people over time. Alora's community means a lot to me as it's like a second home, and I hope to express that during my time.  <3
 
Lucifers GIM: Now that you have been playing on a Realism account for a while, how are you enjoying the game mode?
Moe: I don't think you can call it enjoying at this point... I'm playing Realism!  ;) Alright, Alright, it's not too bad and honestly I can't believe I'm playing it.
 
Lucifers GIM: Do you have any big plans for this summer as you will finally have a break from school? 
Moe: Yeah, there are a few plans I hope to get done this summer. Moving to a new place in Egypt, Europe summer trip, buying a car, and graduating!  ;) Lots of great news!
 
Lucifers GIM: What is one item on your bucket list?
Moe: Ayahuasca trip in the future. I used to be really big into psychedelics' a few years ago and have tried many kinds.
 
Lucifers GIM: If somebody gave you a billboard space for free, what would you put on it?
Moe: XRP 2 DA MF'N MOON! We making it one way or another baby.
