This time time around we not be signing off with awards. Instead we will provide a small showcase of Paragon's BINGO Event!

 

Over two weeks a combination of four-man teams and one-man teams grinded it out to score the most points in order to win our bingo event.

We try not to take ourselves or this Java based game from the 00's too seriously. We're always poking fun at each other, others, and doing what we can to get some laughs in while we're grinding out our goals, PvM adventures, or out in the wilderness. Here's some of those moments with little to no context.

What a switch up this month! @longNstrong pulled up and ripped the crown of King Spoon @AmrH420 head. 
There is plenty of other paragoonians born with a golden spoon in their mouths here's some of the best:

With Ice/Peeks hiding behind their new found love for the ironman game mode, and Aftermath still rebuilding their PKing scene; Paragoons have been rediagnosed with a very serious case of SfSS (suffering from Success Syndrome). Our best and brightest got their minds together to find a new challenge while the other Alora clans and Pking teams gather their resources and launch a new offensive on the Paragoonian Authority.
 
We decided to take on the self proclaimed #1 Realist Bounty Hunter otherwise known as: @Real Alan, @TRIP OVER, @real anal, @Baby impling, and many more as he truly is the man of many names. This was a challenge unlike any of ours in the past - because typically our opponent's primary goal is to fight back not to escape. This made all our well practiced tactics obsolete, we needed to go back to the drawing board to devise strategies to counter his brief but threatening offensives.
 
Our gang of ragtag rev hunters assembled their room temperature IQ's together under the leadership of the one, the only, @Realmungard

After countless sleepless nights, vigorous research and hours of preparation we were convinced we could not only slay the infamous @Real Alan but made it our goal to shut down not one, but ALL of his killstreaks to avenge the countless defenseless PvMers lost in the revenant caves during Moe's PKing events. It was time for us to take some advice from his very own guide.

Mission #1 Codename: Imbued Heart.
 
The #1 Realism Hunter loves a free, quick kill. One great example of this is his notorious World Skotizo Spec Tele - or WSST for short. He targets world skotizo spawns under and at 30 wilderness, equiping high str bonus gear, a DDS and keeps a few javs ready just in case. He'll use the ancient shard to tele into the skotizo spawn halfway through the kill, hoping to catch an unsuspecting Skot Runner with a high DDS spec while Skotizo is attacking them. Alora allows him to dump his specs, tele away, hit the pool, and return all while risking essentially nothing - with everything to gain.
 
Our Skotizo hunters were equipped with a custom made preset designed to not only defend from his attacks, but also with a surprise in store. Our 3 skot runners come with 2 spears, and 1 TB switch, while our heavy hitters stay on standby so to not spook our pray. In this instance @Realmungard came prepared, hit his imbued heart as he saw Alan teleport in, and with a swift click had the hunter Teleblocked, entangled, and in comes @Bolewicki and the boys to finish the job. Unfortunately as we mentioned, he is able to risk essentially nothing and repeat this process over and over regardless of our efforts. The only effective counter is a consistently well-prepared team that is able to insight fear in the hunters eyes acting as a deterrent. We were able to execute this tactic multiple times, and now it seems we have kept the WSST threat at bay, @Dreamland was able to capture what the look looks like if you're able to kill him, and @Realmungard shares a preset YOU can use to take down those who use the WSST tactic as well.

Mission #2 Codename: Life's a Trip
 
This one was a solo mission by one of our Lead Shooters @Bolewicki as any team efforts at the Revenant cave quickly result in @TRIP OVER finding the quickest escape route even moreso than he already does even when there's only a single threat in singles+. Unfortunately the strategy used cannot be disclosed, but the proof is in the results our newest Lead Shooter makes swift work of TRIP OVER's killstreak after landing a quick teleblock and countering his attempts to DD-log or make use of the cave entrances. Our team of part time TB slaves and full time artists quickly went to work to immortalize this moment in Paragon History:

That wasn't enough though - one of our younger shooters @Q was able to get a lucky shot at TRIP OVER at a shooting star trying to rebuild his killstreak with what he thought was some easy pray, but after nearly escaping by logging out after being tb'd he logged back in and found himself quickly in edgeville. He claims he was the victim of Alora's login bug, which if true is an unfortunately reality but in the past he's also taken advantage of other's DCing at revs and shown no mercy - the karma of the wilderness seems to have returned in this case.

Q remembered Rule #2 of Pk Rules: Everybody Eats!

With his insane amount of gaming this month, including FINALLY finishing the Nightmare log, getting 3 pets in one day, finishing the skilling pet log and so much more. He truly is the greatest to ever do it, he's quickly become a cornerstone of the Paragon community and when he's not found helping fellow cc members, having a few laughs, he can normally be found at :tele 3350 3350 with @Omicron himself. We try not to take ourselves or this Java based game from the 00's too seriously. We're always poking fun at each other, others, and doing what we can to get some laughs in while we're grinding out our goals, PvM adventures, or out in the wilderness. Here's some of those moments with little to no context.

As you may remember from the last installment, our loyal (and unloyal) Paragoons were engaged in a war with the (dis)honorable Peeks/Ice alliance. Our crystal shield warriors were forced into guerrilla warfare as we seemed outnumbered, outmatched, and with spies amongst our ranks uncertainty was high - but their numbers did not last. Our Paragoons adapted to the times, dawning Shayzien boots to protect from the lizardlike spy based offensives, RCBs became ACBs, and our numbers quickly increased as more joined our ranks. Even @Realmungard the Feudal lord of the revenant cave was gifted an entire Dagon'hai set with a SINGLE larren's key and took it as a sign from the Wilderness King @Dreamland himself to begin hybridding. We held strong with encouraging words from @A and @Realmungard to keep morale high we continued to fight back.
 
Apart from the few futile attempts to "close" the revenant caves by the Ice/Peeks alliance, day by day Paragoons continue to dominate the wilderness virtually unquestioned. Our Skotizo runs go unchallenged, our HCIM complete entire wilderness diaries without even so much as a single threat, and our revenant hunters continue to rake in the emblems and weapons losing little more than a d'hide set once in a while. It seems that the tables have turned and it is now they who must adopt the guerrilla tactics. They have been quite successful at that however, taking max sets from some of our newest Mini-Mungards such as Anthony, however we would like to remind them that practice makes perfect and soon these Mini-Mungards will become full blown Shooters and healthy threats in themselves.
 
We're not quite sure what the next step is in this war, or if our opponents have given up on challenging our reign. Regardless we are excited for the next chapter in this saga, and we wish Ice/Peeks the best of luck in their adventures. We notice they seem to be devoting a lot of their efforts to their incredibily respectable Ironman accounts new and old - a valiant cause! Our chief Spoonagoonians said a prayer to the RNG gods to send them the best of luck in their PvM and Skilling Adventures. We do hope they return to the wilderness in their previous numbers, things are getting a little boring lately...
 
September was a good month indeed for our Paragoons with an estimated 10 BILLION in spoils.
We would like to recognize @KAREN KUNT and @king daz to our Onyx Paragon Donator tier for their donations of over 1B GP EACH!

There's not much we can say that does justice to the character of Gabrifrane99, instead we would like to remind everyone that everyone you see is still a person behind the screen. We all love a little banter here and there, but we all play this game for the same reason - to enjoy some nostalgia with old friends and hopefully make some new ones. 
 
@Gabrifrane99 had some great friends, and they hosted a memorial this month in his honor, if you haven't seen it already please check out the video and the posts and take a moment to appreciate your loved ones ingame and irl.

Haters going to say it's rigged, our Paragoonian of the Month is: A!!
 
 
 
Our biggest threat that the clan has EVER faced has come not from outside our walls, but from within!
 
Death Kid/A has been collecting DH set donations from all over Alora, and his rampage did NOT stop even with his own clan.
 
He has decimated DHers even within our own ranks, causing many to quit and us to notify all members of the risks associated with his greataxe.

For months after our glorious defeat of the PvM Clan Aftermath, we ran the wilderness from sun up to sun down. It seemed there was no possible threat that could topple our army of Crystal Shield Warriors. Paragoonians became complacent and suffered from a serious case of SfS Syndrome:

That is until #Peeks and ICE joined forces and so began the war to end all wars, Alora's wilderness will not be the same for the foreseeable future.
 
 
 
The insurrectionists first poked their head out in a surprise run-in at mage bank where we were able to quell the rebellion only losing two loyal soldiers to the hands of ICE while we were able to claim the heads of many raggers and smited +1s to take home to feed our wives and children:

The war has continued on ever since, and until recently we've suffered heavy losses on many fronts. It seems PEEKS/ICE is playing dirty and has embedded spies into our discord and cc including one of our Leader Shooters in a futile attempt to sow distrust, and division amongst our ranks. An unsuccessful attempt, as we've adopted the spies as the step-children we never really wanted but nonetheless will treat with tough love and understanding that they will either repent their sins and return to Papa To Gain to beg for forgiveness, or swiftly removed once sufficient evidence has come to light. All the while our remaining Shooters wrecked havoc in 1v1 fights and the occasional run-in to ensure our foes knew that the war was not over - regardless of their attempts to spread disinformation and distrust.

The Paragoonians don't simply lay down in defeat, we instead compiled our resources, did our research, and have begun planning for our return to our rightful spot as dominators of the Alora Wilderness. PEEKS and ICE formed a very dangerous union that left us outnumbered, outskilled, and outgunned - we had no choice but to call in reinforcements and the Moscow Wolf Bears have joined us in our fight for dominance.
 
 
 
Although we were vastly outnumbered, our opponents have began to get sloppy. Just last night we were able to bait them into a multi run-in. One that led to the demon "RM" bowing to Death Kid as his very respectable killstreak was put to an end with the assist of our reinvigorated Crystal Shield Warriors.

We may have lost 7 faithful soldiers and only managed to slay 3 last night, but as PEEKS/ICE recognized as they dropped gfs and refunded rune-cbows - they were put on notice that although they may have won a few fights; the war rages on and none of them are untouchable.
 
 
 
The Wolf Bears have emerged, and Alora's Iron helmets of all colors have begun their skilling grinds as even they understand the wilderness is engulfed in a war to end all wars. 
 
One day, our children's children will gather around the discord campfire and begin a Paragoonian Movie Night they will never forget.
 
One that shows the heroism of our greatest soldiers from Glenn & Corn to Dreamland and To Gain
 
 
 
The story of how a group of long time professional PKers paired with Alora's oldest and largest clan faced up against a group of Skillermanz, Staffermanz, and Pvmermanz with all odds stacked against them.
 
 
 
The rest, is left for the future to determine.

We're here to have fun after all, not to inflict real harm on anyone, if we believe anyone is not acting with the same intentions we will not hesitate to take necessary responses - even if you're within our walls.
