Currently, the rate of getting a molch pearl is as follows:

pearlModifier = (hunterLvl + fishingLvl)/8

chance = (40 - pearlModifier)

This chance is further reduced another 15% if you have the vote bonus active, meaning that at level 99 hunter and fishing you could expect to get a pearl every 16 catches, or every 13 if using the vote bonus. At 80 fishing/hunter, it'd be about 1/20, and 1/17 is using the vote book. This means that if a player had 99 hunter and fishing, and used the efficient strategy stated on the wiki to catch 1600-1800 fish an hour, they would obtain 123 - 138 pearls an hour, which is far greater than OSRS. I'm not sure if this is actually viable in practice, but even if you got 1200 per hour at 99 hunter/fishing, it should still be around 92 pearls an hour with the vote bonus.

As others have mentioned, there are easy ways to get there if you've unlocked them. Particularly for clue step convenience, the teleports should be earned, which in this case it can be through the Kharedst memoirs.

This is too overpowered for the Presets, they're more-so meant to allow players to gear up quickly, not make skilling activities easier. Although I know that it is sometimes used for making skilling easier, it's not the intention, therefore we don't want to make any changes that will allow players make it more overpowered for doing so.

The blood rune altar is by far the most convenient altar (as far as utility) in the game, which is why we moved it further away. It's the same reason we didn't speed up the old method of blood runecrafting. Not only that, but the recent changes with Guardian's of the rift allows players to earn many more runes with multipliers and larger pouches that previously didn't exist. Blood runecrafting may not the best experience per hour, but it is a very fast way to accumulate blood runes, and there's no reason to make it faster.

We occupy the chatbox for FP, and don't want players speaking at the end or beginning of the duel, since it would override the pot/winner announcements.
