Hello everyone,
 
Today brings some bittersweet news as we will be undergoing a Community Manager change. @Moe has served us as Community Manager for just over two years and has been an essential part of Alora during that time, and so we thank him for his service in keeping the staff team healthy and active, as well as running events to keep things exciting in-game, on top of all of the other duties that he has taken on. Don’t worry, he will still be around and will be assisting with advertising related duties, so even though his role has changed, he won’t be going anywhere too far!
 
While @Moe's absence will certainly be felt, we’re confident in our new Community Manager’s ability to fill the role, as we’ve already seen some impressive work from them in many areas including taking on CM duties whenever required, handling events with ease, and handling general Admin duties with the utmost care and dedication. We have no doubt that @Tauri will be a suitable replacement and will do a fantastic job managing the staff team, and managing the community to provide you with the best experience possible.

Realism players have the ability to de-realism to the Classic game mode, by speaking to Paul and paying a fee of 10M.

Elite Ironman players have the ability to de-Ironman to the Classic game mode, or to the Ironman game mode by speaking to Paul and paying a fee of 10M. An Elite Ironman partner swap can be made with a $40 donation.

Info: Group Ironmen share the same restrictions as the Ironman game mode, but with the ability to join/create a group with up to 5 members that they can trade with. They will also have access to a shared bank for them and their members. Other restrictions include cash gained from caskets is halved and bonus experience from well of goodwill is halved.

A GIM Removal Ticket can be used to either leave a group or imitate a vote to kick someone from your group.

Info: Hardcore Group Ironmen share the same restrictions as the Group Ironman game mode, however, the group will only have 1 life for each member (up to 5 lives), and once all lives are lost, all members will be reverted to Group Ironmen. Hardcore Group Ironman groups can only have 5 lifetime joins, for example if 5 players join a group and 3 leave, the group will is permanently 3 players. Other restrictions include cash gained from caskets is halved and bonus experience from well of goodwill is halved. De-ironing is possible if you are NOT in a group. You will de-iron to regular Group Ironman. Experience rates are identical, but you will be stripped of your HCGIM armor first.

K'ril Tsutsaroth Guide

I. Getting there

Teleport Wizard > Bosses > Godwars Dungeon > Run a little northeast to the Ice bridge and climb off to cross the lake into Zamorak's Fortress, then run east until you reach the door.

 Ghommal's Hilt 1-6
Players with at least easy tier of the combat achievements will be able to tele to any Godwars boss door (excluding Nex until Elite+) 5 times a day, this scales to medium being 10 and hard+ being infinite.

Like the other Godwars bosses, K'ril Tsutsaroth also has 3 minions to accompany him and all three do melee attack style.

K'ril uses both melee and mage attacks but also has a special attack that uses the mage attack style and can hit up to 30 if the player is not praying mage, so prioritize praying mage while fighting him then switch to melee prayer when healing off of the minions.

Note: It is highly advisable to get an arclight (or Twisted bow if you wish) before coming to this boss as every other weapon is worse by a large margin.
- K'ril is classed as a greater demon so slayer task is advisable, can be extended as well.

• Fixes [2/2/24]:
  • Fixed a bug where NPCs would stop spawning in instances at some point.
  • Players will now automatically stop mining the salt at Duke sucellus after 3 minutes.
  • Players can no longer get the rock golem pet from mining the salt at Duke Sucellus.
  • Awakener’s orbs will no longer announce over yell.
  • Prifddinas/Gauntlet entrance requirement has been reverted to 9 quest points rather than 12.
  • Fixed a bug where the Desert Treasure II pets would attack their owners due to not being fed enough after being placed in the player’s POH.
  • Players can no longer place a cannon at Zalcano.
  • The trading post plugin now correctly tracks trading post offers/sale progress.
  • Fixed a bug where players could have two 117HD plugins on Runelite, causing neither to work.
  • Vardorvis will now only use his axe attack after the previous axe attack is completely finished.
  • Vardorvis’ axes will now slow down to walking speed for their very last movement before respawning.

I. Getting there

Well, I can't remember the last time I made myself active on any type of forums, even though I used to moderate and participate in many; and personally didn't think I ever would again after having 3 children, and running a couple business's. 

But alas, you guys have sucked me in. I love this server and community so much I figure why not step up to the next level and start participating in the forum community and what better way than to introduce myself.

lots of you know me in game, I'm fairly talkative and probably sometimes too much xD so if i'm ever talking too much in the CC or yell just tell me to shutup, I get it 

I'm an open book in my life; as I'm an active believer in people vocalizing themselves. Too many people are scared to open up, or afraid of who they are or what people will think; mental health is real and I think expressing and talking is a huge healer in that sense.

I'm only saying this in the hopes that maybe, if one of you guys is ever having a really hard day, feeling close to the edge or just simply needing a friend that you will reach out to me; I'm not very knowledgeable about the game itself; but I'm always down to talk!

So on that note: This is who I am.

My names Logan, I'm 31 from British Columbia, Canada. I got sober 7 years ago from being an addict for well over a decade. I struggled with homelessness, addiction, gangs, jail.. you name it. 

I have 3 boys who are my fucking world and the reason for my change in my life. We are all avid dirtbikers and my youngest son (7) competes nationally across Canada in track. 

I own and operate a snow removal company & a film and photography business (@leoshotit92) on instagram. Quick sneaky little advert,

I also speak publicly about mental health and volunteer with troubled youth when i can.

that's the man behind DMGDaddy, now ya'll know me in and out. A lot of people find it weird that I always share so much about myself and my life; but i've found from experience it can help people who feel isolated, or like they are alone. sometimes the smallest thing can resonate with an individual.

Improvements to the RuneLite presets plugin:

 

Problem: Currently if you have multiple clients open, make a new preset, close both clients - your new preset may not have saved. I thought it was dependant on whichever client was closed last, but this doesn't seem to be the case. This is confusing and frustating to deal with.
 

Fix: Make presets save dependant on which account is logged in (just like loot tracker).

EDIT: Syncing works if you log into runelite with a gmail account. This suggestion is unneccesary :)
