Would it be possible to occasionally get planned/upcoming updates posted? (Mainly related to new upcoming content and changes to current content)

No real reason other than it would be really cool to see what is being thought up behind the scenes and would let us know what to look forward to next and also into the future! No release dates would have to be given etc, just knowing what is in the pipeline would be enough to get me hyped!

Iirc there was/is a dev blog. Not sure if it's still a thing but it may be worth looking into or bringing back.

Personally I'd prefer to see development blogs for much bigger content, E.G the new skill coming out on osrs this year. For smaller updates such as if Dan/Chad are to add Muspah boss. Alot of the updates rolling out are smaller things added also.

Just a personal opinion though.

Yeah I mainly meant for new content and any notable additions to existing content, semi regular dev blogs would be great

I do believe it would help also writing the smaller ones in a Work in progress blog post. 
Dont have to be elaborate but it could give some transparency in what to expect and not keep spamming in #suggestions

Players need a list of issues the Alora team is currently working on.

 

-stuff like 'fixing vespula'

-adding 'giants foundry' to bonus list

-etc

 

that way players...

1. don't need to keep making repetitive bug reports

2. can skip the room from the start (rather than waste time on raid/drop boosters) -> plan around it

Agreed! Helpful from a gameplay perspective but also nice to know what is currently being worked on behind the scenes.

 

Like there have been two big updates to OSRS in the wildy boss caves and the new quest boss, if these are being worked on  a small dev blog confirming it would be amazing and like you say, also acknowledgements of other issues being worked on
