I joined this server a little before leaving home for the first time ever in 2018, and playing it on my crappy little lenovo laptop while sitting alone and homesick was the thing that got me through.

I have been on and off, one time got hacked for a lot - use 2fa, kids!! - and when I came back, I realized that I would happily rebuild on this server because it ultimately is the community that makes it what it is.

You won't find a more well-balanced server socially anywhere - the staff and mods have always done a really good job of cutting the crap without being censorious and when I have dealt with account recovery, bug reporting, etc. I witnessed more efficiency and service than I get in any of the professional settings I'm in.

Special shout to U, H, Tauri, Moe, Logan, Lubabe, Kareem and everybody else who makes it all go round.

Omicron, you must be a freak of nature to do what you do as quickly as you do it, and I am continually astounded by the stability and functionality of Alora. Kudos and thank you for everything.

I know from time to time I may have been a snot to a few of you (I was a teenager when I started!) - but know that as a guy who lives alone and has had a very rough year, I actually do think of you all more than you realize and hope and pray everyday that your lives outside of the game are okay.

This place is home for a lot of folks, the level of devotion and loyalty here is earned and you'd be hard pressed to find a better experience than Alora gives even on a quiet day.

You guys are awesome. I wish all of you good health and good RNG.

Here's to standing in doorways, yelling for the well, recruiting for pc, and gz's.

I joined back in 2017 while looking through server lists and noticing that Alora was one of the first ones to advertise the Inferno. Since then I've had so many memories in here that will remain in my mind for a long time.

Thank you @Omicron and thank you to all the staff throughout the years for taking good care of this place. Thank you to countless people who have been playing to keep this place going.

Whether I've been away for a while or playing for months straight, I can always log in and have a wonderful time.

Hopefully we will all be here for the 20th anniversary and be able to join in on the festivities again.
