[King of GIM]

 What is your suggestion?:

Reduce the price of purchasing your first house from 10m gp to 100k gp.

 

Is this in OSRS?: 

The price to purchase a home is only 1k in OSRS

How would this benefit Alora?: 

10m probably isn't the hardest to get on a normal account, but on beginer ironmen it's actually quiet grindy, especially if you can't train the skill until you get the 10m. Irons typically have to rely on getting hard caskets for gp early game, and I don't think it makes much sense for players to have to wait so long into their account to acquire 10m to begin training the skill.

 

 

For reference, I've been playing my iron for about a week and a half with almost 1600 total level, a few skills in the 80-90 range with still not getting my first poh. If this were to be accepted and implemented, I personally should have purchased my first home on this account so I don't believe I would benefit from this, just something I've noticed so far on my journey.

 

Let this housing market collapse like it did in 2008 for the USA please.

I've started an ironman account a few days ago and while not even paying attention to my cash stack i'm at 6m right now... 
Don't think it's necessary to change this to a lower amount.

Definitely wouldn't hurt to be lowered maybe to 5m but I also started a gim last week and have rougly 7m with under 1 day play time. Neutral on this

I support this suggestion, I was having similar thoughts when I was Maxing my Ultimate Iron account. For an example, when I hit 2100 level, I still have 1 Construction due to the fact I wasn't doing too much pvm for coins to purchase the Poh of 10m. It would be cool if select gamemodes are cheaper to purchase the house but as @ beans n cake said above, I believe reducing the overall price to 5m isn't hurting anything. I do feel like there needs to be some sort of change because especially for a UIM account, a POH is crucial for storing items/gear in to free up more inventory spaces.

No support, when I did GIM I had 10m in no time by doing slayer. Ensouled heads/caskets and alching items should help you out by getting 10m quick.

To touch on this and to explain myself a little more, for a gamemode that is slower than x8 and below isn't the issue and the intentions of this suggestion is at. As I mentioned in my comment above, as a UIM rates are x40, by the time I was 2100 total with 95+ slayer and 125 combat, I barley have 7m cash to my name. This isn't fun especially for a newer player trying to build their POH to start training the only skill costs money to start. Yes, moneymaking is not hard on Alora, but i'm more so concerned for newer players and players who don't understand how to make cash just through doing slayer and basic things throughout the game when they'd rather spend their cash stacks on useful Pvm gear. In my eyes, the whole idea is to be able to train all skills equally rather than having to save Constructioning for last because you don't want to or cannot afford the 10m.

It's obviously a gp sink, because the rate of getting gp is waay higher than original. You're gonna have to sink more money afterwards anyways for Construction. If you can't afford 10m, you can't afford Construction anyways.

No support.  I would support PoH updates for portal nexus and obelisks though.

 

Would be nice if having an obelisk in your poh allowed you to teleport from wildy obelisks directly to your PoH.
