What is your suggestion?:

I would like to add a suggestion to add a toggle on/off function to the max capes and monkeys slayer perk. To prevent these kind of situations:

Has this suggestion been accepted already?:

No

 

How would this benefit Alora?:

Just a little QoL so you can decide for yourself if you want more repeating tasks, as this might come in handy in certain cases.

 

I am aware that taking off the cape would get the same results. This is just a little QoL and shouldn't get priority over more urgent fixes.

As you have stated, just taking off the cape will disable this perk. I don’t think it is a necessary addition. No support from me.

So is using the Teleport Mage to teleport to Raids an option, yet we still have a ::cox or ::tob command. What I'm trying to say is, taking the cape off for getting a task isn't really QoL. And for that particular reason I decided to add this suggestion.

 

But I do understand your point of view.

I support this as it is just a small QoL addition so you don't have to take your cape off every time you go get a slayer task.

Super annoying to have to remember to remove cape or monkey while skipping for a certain task, got my full support.

Since this is such a small fix to help improve a situation a fair bit I belive this would be a good addition.

Neutral on this, it was pretty annoying but taking off the cape was auto pilot after a while for me.

Pretty easy to take off Cape but I agree it can be annoying and I don’t usually ever find myself using the repeat task except in very rare cases. SUPPORT but only as a QOL if time permits

I'm with @Real cream @BuccScratchr @Sheep and @Vary on this one.  I'd rather have Omicron spend his time on updating the costume room in poh than working on such a small fix for the max cape/monkey.  Let's think about the opportunity cost here guys  :wub:

A better fix would be is a dialogue option: Would you like to get your previous task again?

Anyone with a max cape can build it in their POH.  Actually, you dont even need 99 construction to utilize costume room.  So technically, it affects more players.

 

Master clue hunters -> get a lot of halos (untradeable) -> would benefit from storage in poh -> frees up nearly 10 bank spaces

 

All players -> random event gear -> would benefit from storage in poh

 

Players doing corrupted gauntlet -> gauntlet cape -> would benefit from storage in cape rack

 

All players -> holiday event gear (like carrot sword) -> would benefit from storage in toy box

 

These are just some examples.

True points, but how time consuming is this vs this small QoL?
