This is a pretty simple suggestion.

The Soulbearer is a fairly easy to obtain item on osrs but locked to a pretty large cost in PKP on Alora.

There are obviously numerous other ways a Soulbearer could be obtained in Alora but I'd like to see it in the slayer shop or loyalty shop as too many items that are so valuable to early game progress and achievable early game on osrs are locked to high daily task points or vote points on Alora.

Cheers.

So what exactly are you suggesting?  Add soulbearer to slayer shop or loyalty shop?

On Alora, banking takes significantly less time than on OSRS, so I can see why Omicron would put steeper prices on items that send stuff straight to your bank.  We definitely don't want to make it too easy to obtain!  Otherwise, we'll have an influx of gp from  everyone's autobanked ensouled heads.  Given that, let's take a look at the value of the item.  Currently, it costs 9,750 pkp, which is a little more than 3 tier 10 emblems to unlock from the pkp shop.  Similarly priced items include the necklace of anguish and amulet of torture (also 9,750 pkp).  Items of this caliber, in my opinion, should absolutely not be in the loyalty shop.  The donor shop yes... The slayer shop maybe... but only if it costs around 4,000 slayer points (the cost of endgame slayer shop items like penace queen).

What Alan stated above is exacty right. If you're doing skotizo that PKP comes in quick. I wouldn't mind the slayer shop having it, but as he also said 4k points would seem right up there, since it's considered an end game item.

Sort of understand where you're coming from, doesn't address the soulbearer being a completely useless item as far as account progression goes. I don't think comparing it against other similarly priced pkp shop items is even remotely close to accurate as it's an unused item in the game, it may cost 9750pkp but it's value is not 9750pkp.

I don't really know what else to respond with cause anything regarding this from anyone is going to be anecdotal.
The main point of this suggestion is that a pkp shop should not be the only way to acquire a non tradeable, non wilderness item.

I understand that you want to increase accessibility to soulbearer, but I don't understand your logic.

Your logic -> can't compare soulbearer to similarly priced items in the pkp shop -> why? -> "[soulbearer] is an unused item in the game"

Arguing that soulbearer is an unused item is completely opinion.  I'd argue I use mine a lot, especially when hunting easy clues.

My logic -> you should compare soulbearer to similarly priced items in the shop -> why? -> currently the pkp shop is the only way to get it -> opportunity cost of buying the soulbearer

This is an objective comparison.  If you dont like the zenyte comparison because they are not available in your ironman pkp shop, then you could just use an equivalent quantity of blood runes.  Either way, I would not want soulbearer in the loyalty shop.

So, here's what I think

Really, what you're saying is... you also think the soulbearer is overpriced in the pkp shop -> which is completely okay to think -> just come out and say it though...  don't beat around the bush and pretend it's a simple suggestion

You might not think the item is worth 9,750 pkp , but to anyone that currently owns one, it most definitely is.

No, I'm not insinuating I think it's overpriced in the pkp shop. It is currently obtainable only via pkp, I think that should change, I don't think the pkp shop price of it should change.

Also yes loyalty shop is a horrible place for it, after a second thought I can agree with that.

I think a fair middle ground would be to reduce the Pkp cost of the soul bearer from 7.5k PkP to 4.5k PkP, making it easier to obtain. The item isn't too overpowered, and is easy to get on OSRS, so your points are valid and well-taken.
