what is your suggestion?:  My suggestion is to let realism players use the vendor Baba Yaga to buy Astral runes like in osrs. 

Is this in OSRS?: Yes

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: No.

How would this benefit Alora?: Currently the only way for realism players to get Astral runes is buy of other players or RC which causes the price of them to be ridiculously high and I see no reason how it could harm Alora by letting realism also trade that vendor.

As ironman i SUPPORT. Sometimes you just dont have time to make them or get as drop. Good way is to buy atleast 500 to veng someone or just to save time doing them.

baba yaga is there for ironmans, only need to do achievements or a quest i cant remember. didnt know realism couldnt access it.

 

full support to add it. this could help  realism players alot ^^

I support this as well. If ironmen can access after Lunar Diplomacy, I think it should be the same for Realism players.

I support this. I don't see how it could harm the Realism game mode in any way.  Other runes are already available.

To be honest, the lack of astral runes in the rune shops isn't a big deal for me, since they're available in the pkp shop.

You might not be a pker, but there are other ways to obtain astral runes quite easily on Realism. 

 

Wilderness slayer for tier 1 emblems -> 52k + 72 pkp -> 150 astrals

 

Skotizo for t2-t6 emblems -> 120-619 pkp per kill (20 pkp for 50 astrals) -> 300-1550 astral runes from 1 skotizo kill

 

Besides, emblems are tradeable.  You can purchase emblems off players to buy astrals, kill hydra, or simply runecraft them.

 

One major difference between normie, classic, and realism is... realism players go out and hunt for their supplies themselves.  

 

We don't rely on a shop to sell us everything we need.

 

Regardless of this suggestion's outcome, I think Astral runes are very easily obtainable as long as you're willing to put in the effort.

@ Real Alan I have put in the effort but the pvp isn't a risk most players enjoy taking I've personally crafted 8k of my Astral runes just to get any progress but agree to disagree.
