What is your suggestion?:

Currently if you search a player's name on trade post, it will come up with listings for everyone that has that name within their name.

Depending on how simple or commonn the username you're searching is, you may have to go through several pages to find that actual user's listings.

For example: If you search "Ruwk" you will also see listings for "Ruwkzor", "Classic Ruwk", and "Ruwk 2" as well.

I am suggesting that when you search a players name, it will only show listings for the exact name you searched.

Is this in OSRS?:

Nah they use GE

Has this suggestion been accepted already?:

Not that I found

How would this benefit Alora?:

Basic QOL that we all love :)

I think a good fix for this would be for omicron to let us wild card the name ourselves if we want to.

So if I want to find all names like ruwk do something like *ruwk*.

I support

if you are looking for a player named for example ''ruwk'' and you see 3 player with similar name,

you just right click the one you wanna see the listing off and its all fixed...dont think this deserve an update tbh, so much other stuff to fix b4 this.

never had any issues finding someone in tp, or you can just write the name correctly and you all good.

Not really an issue in my opinion. Like @strudelle said above, you can just right click the players name and check their listings.

No support.

Edit: I've been made aware of the fact that if you search for players such as "War", and you see all the various listings by players with War in their name and you try to look up War's listings like in the gif below, it won't actually show you their listings. So in this case I support the suggestion.

in my humble opinion of someone who camps the trading post 24-7 i dont really have an issue with this, cause at the same time, i also like the feature for those who can essentially bypass the cap and advertise with their user all under 1 search.

butttt i can see it being annoying from a perspective if you have a super common name and others are also repping it to where it could be annoying for the user to locate yours through huge quants of listing's but thats lowkey kinda rare imo.

neutral on this.

Haven't ever gotten this problem my self, but I think it's even better when you don't need to put in full persons nickname to see his trade post.

I support the idea, but it's not necessary.
