What is your suggestion?:

show open buy offers in tp so players can see what their items could instantly sell for, similar to how we can see sell offers.

 

How would this benefit Alora?:

I don't see why there's a double standard that we can see sell offers but not buy offers, lets open it all up so players can make the best decisions for themselves.

 

It's possible that a player lists a bandos chestplate for 25m and theres a buy offer for 24m for example and they might be willing to go down another mil to insta sell but they just wouldn't know its there.

I suggested this when it was in development but Omicron opposed. He had a decent reasoning for it which I forget. Maybe he's more open to it now or maybe the reasoning still holds.

I would glady sell things 10,15% cheaper if it meant I knew I could get the money straight away rather than putting in a sell offer that might only be a few mill above the best buy offer.

This is not in osrs, and buy offers being hidden help prevent market manipulation and monopolies. 
A player can simply list an item 1m cheaper to find out the buy offers listed in the tradepost. It's not rocket science.

if that was a concern then showing sell offers already does this. anyone with money can buy out all of a certain item and relist them at price gouging rates and argue that their price is the tp price, which is just whatever they inflated it to be .

 

also having to relist things multiple times to find out if its '1m cheaper' over and over gets stale, when this option would clearly be a better qol, it really isnt rocket science

we'll make it a yearly suggestion until we're heard then, since clearly there's a lot of support for the idea just like being able to use platinum tokens in tp which we were promised years ago, even osrs has this feature before us now

Adding buy offers would definitely make the TP system considerably more useful. I don't think it'll hurt the market or newer players either... If anything, showing both buy and sell offers gives everyone a better idea of the actual supply and demand. For Alora, buy offers could make the TP feel much more like a proper marketplace rather than just an item catalogue with price.

Our tp is so outdated we cant buy half of the end game gear because it costs more than max cash.

I support this and any other tp update
